Ska Junkie
When you see the replays, I can't believe the space both scorers had on the edge of the box. Can't say I noticed at the time.
robin_unreliant
NL having no problem scoring against a team that made England struggle. There agian, they weren't hampered by playing with a giant handbrake having been applied.

On the contrary, Netherlands played with much more of a handbrake

Did you watch the game, scoring goals obviously meant the Dutch didn’t have handbrakes on I’m guessing

cidercity1987
Australia going to be a victim of the schedule today. Hard for the lesser team to get back up with only 2 days between games. 4-0 Argentina

Lanterne Rouge
I`m not sure if the ball has actually been out of the Australian half yet.
ExiledAjax
Australia look well organised. Solid lines. For all the possession the Argies have had they've not had many shots or chances
redkev
Lots of suppport for the Argies might be interesting if they end up playing England somewhere in the tournament with the no segregation in the stadiums could well be a few flashpoints
BCFC Rich
Great patience from Australia there, good possession and build up leading to the corner.

Midred
Are Australia fouling alot more than Argentina or is it just that Argentina make a meal of it? There have been one or two sly fouls on Australia that the ref doesn't acknowledge.
Rob k
Is it just me that thinks keeper should be saving the Messi goal? Or harsh?

Not harsh but keeper had defenders blocking the view, you could argue his positioning should be better

And I know it pales into insignificance alongside the bribery and corruption needed to actually be awarded the tournament, the thousands of (denied)worker deaths building the stadiums, and the previous and ongoing human rights abuses, but the pitches are really shit in this WC. Loads of players falling over, cutting up badly, like a mid winter UK Sunday League pitch. And it’s in a ruddy desert! Red DNA
What is it with the obligatory shot of FIFA President Gianni Infantino sat in the stands as the match starts? Is it written into his contract that the TV companies must show him at least once during each game? He may well be President but it seems to be a bit a rse licking to me.
