nickolas
Thats what happens when you play King at cb. Embarrassing we are reduced to having to play him there. Simple headed clearance for any proper cb. awful. Especially when stoke werent evdn in the game. Quote Link to comment
old_eastender
HT 1-1 Awful first 25 mins, laboured and sloppy. Then good 15 mins, with TC hitting the post before Wells gets our goal and at that stage looking like we could get a 2nd. Then all the good work undone, by pathetic defending by King gifting them an equaliser. So frustating, that was the only chance Stoke had all half. 1 Quote Link to comment
frenchred
The bloke is not a defender, it's just the Dino picking his mate again 1 Quote Link to comment

East Yorkshire CideRed
Poor game management. Bad header back to O’Leary meant he ended up gifting them possession. 2 Quote Link to comment

Casual and careless It's a fair comment but in that situation Max can't come without risking the pass and putting himself too close to react and King tries to let it come to him when the pace isn't there, it's solely on King that he didn't deal with it. The whole team could still be coasting but if he'd been capable of defending that situation we go in with a lead and NP could say his part about not slacking on a lead, instead he now needs to fire them up after they've given up a lead and been easily on top. Stoke will now come out with a bit between their teeth after getting fired up by a late equaliser. Quote Link to comment
Bazooka Joe
We're targeting Jagielka. They're targeting King. It'll probably be the same in the second half. So far, great goal for us and soft gifted/speculative goal for them. Quote Link to comment

Redrascal2
Losing a lead at Ashton Gate. Something's never change. After a great win away last week back to the usual shambles. 1 Quote Link to comment
Malago
Should have gone for the jugular after we scored. Instead took the foot of the pedal and tempted fate. This a poor Stoke side who are there for the taking if we have the balls to go full throttle. 2 Quote Link to comment
bexhill reds
Just seems to be a really apathetic atmosphere which seems to be affecting the players and crowd. No intensity really from either team. Really disappointing goal to concede, King got caught out trying to be clever, and as is City’s way, the deflection off his back goes straight to Delap. Jerseybean
Poor half from both teams, one flash of good football from Cam = a goal, then shambolic and truly school-boy defending = 1-1 Please, please can we start to look after the ball much better, go forward and defend properly. marcofisher
Looked ridiculously lucky from them, appeared to roll off the attackers back straight to the goalscorer’s feet. We were by far the better team and they were very fortunate to get that chance as had done nothing else. Seem some on here have missed having something to moan at for the last month. Pring being picked over DaSilva is a good decision IMO. I think Vyner is much better in the middle and Tanner to his right as RCB should have been the starting line up but I suppose we don't get to speak to the players, we don't know what they're comfortable with etc. I do dislike having King in the middle though, he's not a natural center back at all Quote Link to comment

robin_unreliant
That half was so City. Hit the post and take about a twenty minute dominant spell of hard graft to finally get a goal. Then gift one back with totally incompetent defending against a side who looked incapable of scoring. 4 Quote Link to comment

Twas ever thus. We`ve seen so much of it over the years. At least this one was at HT and not FT. Quote Link to comment
