22A
Yet again a City win, but the oppos once again put it down to them being rubbish. https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/151413-official-lapps-match-thread-brizzle-away/page/6/#comments We are miles off the playoffs and haven’t beaten a top six side all season. We will finish between 9th and 16th I think Wow, that was utterly turgid. Dare I say, Dean Smithesque. That was utter cack, we are clearly not good enough as a squad to unlock well organized teams Then there was this thread; https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/151415-cost-of-bristol-city-team-that-weve-played-today/ O'Leary - £0 (youth) Tanner - £300k Atkinson - £1.6m Vyner - £0 (youth) Pring - £0 (youth) Williams - £725k James - £0 (free agent) Sykes - £0 (free agent) Scott - £0 (youth) Bell - £0 (youth) Wells - £4.75m Mehmeti - £5m Cornick - "low six figures", lets call it £300k Weimann - £2m £14.7m and yet, we're no better than them. We're no younger than them. We're 3 points apart in the table. 2 2 1 Quote Link to comment

WessexPest
I lost count of the number of times Kal Naismith said “outstanding” on commentary today: and he wasn’t wrong. Excellent performance from everyone in a red shirt (including those watching from the stands). I dunno what’s happened since Boxing Day but what a difference! 4 Quote Link to comment

Maybe with add-ons but not up front. You could also argue that Weimann is technically free given we resigned him at the end of his last contract. It's a technicality but I think it's correct. I reckon our starting XI today was assembled for under £10m in fees and probably costs us under £150,000 a week in wages. Edited February 11, 2023 by ExiledAjax 3 Quote Link to comment

Mr Popodopolous
Thought we were solid today. Compact. Norwich had their moments of course and a fair bit of the ball but for all their possession were not really threatening for the most part. Scott should've had a penalty for sure and the wait goes on. 70-30 in favour of Norwich as far as the ref was concerned it felt like. 2 Quote Link to comment
