That’s a lot of fans all coming to BS3.  If the local & national government were still wondering about the need for a rail station at Ashton gate you’d think this would persuade them

Unfortunately all evidence points to them putting in more parking restrictions.

That’s about right.  Rather than “how can we make travel as efficient as possible” they Council seem to have the approach “how can we make travel as awkward as possible”.

Thank god for the Park and Ride is all I can say. Getting to the ground without that would be very difficult otherwise.

How much do we get from hosting those international games? Is it just the profit on the F&B spend or do we get a percentage of the gate too?

I would imagine those people along Ashton Rd must be wishing they had helped us more with the move to Ashton Vale. ?

Or - "how can we ensure that residents of the immediate area around the ground can actually park near their own homes"

This is the biggest issue with the redevelopment of the "Sporting Quarter" for locals TBH

Where and when were the TKTS for the Lionesses game on sale, I phoned supporters services just before Christmas, they had no idea, a bit late now, but would be interested to know,

I had the email from the club to buy tickets on the 8th November. Maybe by Christmas they'd sold out?

This is correct, probably sold out a bit earlier than Xmas?

I'm doing all the matches mentioned except this game, I even passed on an offer of a free ticket. *

*This ticket has be given to someone else before anyone asks ?

Or.
It’s given an opportunity for local residents to park their cars on the streets on Friday night allowing them to let out their off-road drive on the Saturday for an extortionate price.

Thankfully there are enough of these residents letting their drives out for under a tenner, but some are charging waaaayy in excess of that.

And of course the income will be declared on their tax return in April.

That’s nothing compared to what the blue few have in store:

Monday 26th February: Car boot sale

Tuesday 27th February; Drive in viewing of home alone.

Wednesday 28th February: Free babestation viewing in club lounge.

Thursday 1st March: An evening with Rovers hero Dean Windass.

Friday 2nd March: Cabbage growing workshop on Memorial Stadium pitch.

The were under the events tab on the Bristol sport online ticket site. I missed out before Xmas as I didn’t realise how popular it would be but picked up a couple of what I assume were corporate returns last Thursday.

And I assume it's part of this it's why City Women's FA Cup game against Man City Women is taking place at the RHPC - although personally I'm glad it is!
