Yeah….the ride up is good but it almost ends by the time you get home the day you get promoted. 2013 promotion in red was grim, 2018 with Warnock a bizarre miracle but we all new where it would end and we are still paying for his shocking signings and wasting of the pennies Tan gave him now….I hope you make it anyway, just so you can see it, feel it and crack on…..

Im enjoying your comments,, nice one… after 35 years of watching all i want to see is that one championship season where we get promoted, ideally like we did under cotterill with a 100 point season, but a sneaky play off win would do! The actual premier league season getting spanked every week would get boring quick, but just seeing ua finally make it would be ace…

No it's a village in the Rhondda next to Tonypandy.

But I missed a letter. It is LLWYNYPIA.

Thanks Cidered. I thought you’d missed out another ‘Y’. :noexp:

Wallypiny is the emotion felt by 15’ers when their owner returns to Jordan for an extended period of time.

Can’t imagine there’d be a big market for Cardiff City/Bristol City half and half scarves!

I saw one person buying one on the way in on Tuesday night, I didn't see any in the stadium or after. Hopefully they got stuck with a whole lot of useless stock.

I just hope for the sake of the environment that they recycled them.

I’ve had a hatred generally, but going back to gigs after lockdown,  I had the displeasure of going to The Globe in Cardiff to see a band i love on a Monday night.

Between most songs a big group of lads in there were chanting ‘bluebirds’ and doing the cringe head tapping gimmick in front of randomers faceds. First gig back after 18 months of a pandemic ruined by those *******

It’s gone to another level since then. Heads gotta roll.

From the Jam by any chance?

Those scarves were probably five years old anyway! I ventured into the club shop before the match and found them on display together with commemorative mugs. Wtf?

Cheers, Pearson might well take you up at some point, I quite rate him and would have liked him here a few years ago post Warnock.
there is no way he’d put up with Tans nonsense ( Warnock did but played him like a charm and Morison wouldn’t put up with it which is why he was gone after signing 17 players ffs) so it will never happen. We did have bellers here working miracles with our youth, another who won’t work directly under the Emporer….he will make a decent manager one day.

I saw one chap with one in the Lansdown concourse.

As he made his way up the steps he excitedly shouted “come on Bristol” he must have been disappointed when he saw goalposts instead of Rugby posts.

If they didn't smash our toilets up like pussies we would probably charge them less.

If we’re charging them extra to cover the cost of their behaviour then fair enough (although I was under the impression we charged CCFC for the damage..?)

I was given to believe (possibly incorrectly) that we charged ALL visiting fans those prices, not just the violent Neanderthals like Cardiff and Millwall??

Did you not go to Eastville in the FA Cup 2nd Round? Far and away my favourite away game but then I missed the three you mention.

Yes that was good too but spent half the match rubbing my eyes with all the stand that blew in it from that bike track , quite lively walking through Stapleton after as well ??

Yeah true but I don’t want to sound too miserable about it.

At the end of the day the more nights like Tuesday the better. I’d rather see part time fans and a full house than loads of empty seats

The FA cup tie was epic, it had everything and the comeback in the game kind of mirrored the start of our comeback as a club, we’d hit rock bottom and were on our way up.

I might be wrong but I think the really windy day where we all got sandblasted wasn’t the cup game, maybe the league game in April a year or so later? Not sure, just remembered the cup game as being near perfect day out but complaining about the sand game and getting my money back.

Didnt they escort us all the way back to Lawrence Hill roundabout, took ages but I remember listening to the 3rd round draw on my radio as we walked.

The 4-1 over Xmas '74 was very windy as well .

I’m probably in that picture as I was standing there around the half way line…..fair play to him, I’d love to do something like that if I scored in a Derby. What season was that? I think we got our revenge for that over the next 10 yrs too. Was 6-1 a dream?

Doesn’t happen very often, mind. I can safely say after living in BS7 for three years, I never saw a gas shirt outside of a matchday (and I saw plenty of City shirts on the common as well!)

I’ve never had any time for Cardiff, going back to the 3-1 win over there when Murray got his brace and we were pelted with coins and piss. Sad bunch of *****, generally.

Now you've said that I live in BS15 and I can't actually remember the last time I saw one!

Little bit of useless trivia from an ex friend that worked at Cardiff. Tan would always come in the office and bark at one of the staff to make him and Warnock hot drinks, Warnock would always tell the staff to crack on with their work and would make the drinks himself.

More so additional policing, stewards, segregations etc etc blabla due to bad behaviour I’d assume. Shame that the minority will often spoil it for the majority.

Additionally, we charge embarrassingly extortionate prices anyway.

6-1 in a ******* blizzard, sat in the Atyeo and I could barely see the other end of the pitch, couldn’t feel anything below my shins by the end.
