old_eastender
All too like Huddersfield, lots of possession but for all that their keeper has not had to make a real save. Quote Link to comment
Barry Sheene
Loads more than the four minutes added. Madine was down for that 1 Quote Link to comment

marcofisher
We could do with a few more long shots. Blackpool are so deep. Quote Link to comment

downendcity
Remember a month ago, when we were on the unbeaten run, looking forward to ur next 4 games - all against teams well below us in the table? Quote Link to comment
tin
Just for once, especially when teams sit back with two narrow banks of four defending the width of their box, it’d be nice to see someone shoot from outside the box. Fair play to Blackpool, they have defended very well in that first half. Edited March 11, 2023 by tin 2 Quote Link to comment
Finley_Smith10
Desperately need an attacking midfielder in the summer Quote Link to comment
bexhill reds
All pretty comfortable, although need to be more creative as we rarely score from crosses into a crowded box. Quote Link to comment
Malago
A complete lack of conviction in the final third. Quote Link to comment
Banjo Red
Bit more cutting edge needed. Quote Link to comment
The Journalist
I think we’ve played really well again. If we keep at it the goals will come - and I hope the players believe in that more than a few hysterical boys and girls on here. 5 1 Quote Link to comment

cityexile
A repeat of the first half v Huddersfield really. By most metrics by far the better team, but just not clicking in the box. This lot kept a clean sheet v Burnley last time out so no mugs at the back, but telling that the single best chance was theirs. Not too critical given the points on the board already and the forced changes, just bloody frustrating. Hopefully it comes. 1 Quote Link to comment
Portland Bill
Would be nice to see someone actually have a shot from outside the box!. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Gert Mare
When a side is packing out their defence you don’t try to tippy tappy it probing for gaps you get round the back. Too much possession and probing and not enough conviction. Got to get quicker with the build up play. Stretch them, use the wide men and get the defenders facing the wrong way. Frustrating watch so far. Edited March 11, 2023 by Gert Mare Quote Link to comment
robinforlife2
Dominant first half but nothing to show for it. If we get a goal before 65 mins, we’ll get two or three . No changes needed, but final ball needs to be better. Blackpool are camped in their own half and just defending for their lives. Quote Link to comment

We’re clearly the better side so far, and they’ve defended their box pretty well. Plenty of room for improvement, though. Quote Link to comment

slartibartfast
Doing ok, unfortunately we've got no one to win the ball in the air in their box ! Quote Link to comment
Stedge
Since Semenyo has left we’re really struggling to score. Who’d have thought it? Just wait until Alex Scott leaves in the summer. Lots of money doesn’t automatically bring in great replacements. Quote Link to comment

The other issue we have is none of our players are very good at long shooting. Mehmeti is the only one I'd like to see try. Quote Link to comment

Spike
This is so frustrating, we've been all over them and 11 shot with only 1 on target. Very hard to watch! Quote Link to comment
Jerseybean
2 hours ago, Jerseybean said: The prospect of a dour game awaits I fear, between two teams who aren’t scoring. For me the first goal (if indeed there is one) will be key. If we get it we could end up with two or three, if they get it then they will park the bus. Some parallels with Huddersfield perhaps in that if one of our first half chances had been taken it would have significantly changed the game with them having to look to equalize. So, completely hedging my bets, it’s likely to end 0-0, or perhaps 1-0 to them, or if we score first us winning 2-0 or even 3-0 Given the first half and us not getting an early goal I’m revising this - it will finish 0-0 or 1-0 to us or them Quote Link to comment
