Blackpool at home match thread

Recommended Posts

The cold damp weather, been drizzling in south Devon all morning, has got the better of me. I really didn’t feel like another 3 plus hours on the M5 in crappy conditions, then heavier rain forecast for Bristol.

So the fact it’s on Sky has turned me into a crappy fair weather fan and now I’m feeling guilty. Sorry lads.

Can anyone bring me up to speed about our substitute, Callum Wood. I understand he's a defender (left back?). @Davefevs ?

The prospect of a dour game awaits I fear, between two teams who aren’t scoring. For me the first goal (if indeed there is one) will be key. If we get it we could end up with two or three, if they get it then they will park the bus.

Some parallels with Huddersfield perhaps in that if one of our first half chances had been taken it would have significantly changed the game with them having to look to equalize.

So, completely hedging my bets, it’s likely to end 0-0, or perhaps 1-0 to them, or if we score first us winning 2-0 or even 3-0 ?

So we may win, lose or draw? Contentious.

If anyone slags us off today, they can **** right off. We really are down to the very bare bones aren’t we.

I for one certainly won't point the finger at Nige if we lose. Nope, I'll be blaming OSIB.

Francois winner would be lush.

After the comments about from Nigel about Omar Taylor Clarke seeing King start surprises me, I get that he offers experience but he's not even close to James in terms of quality and I thought we'd be giving the lad a start as he'd be hungry.

I think this game could be won or lost in the middle today.
