Got mine this morning. Having done so many away matches, I have never done Cardiff as a fan which is mad (reported there a number of times against other championship clubs though and sometimes the atmosphere has been poor - not this one -!).

Me and and my 13th year old Son are looking forward to this one!

You Reds!

So you're not taking your 12 other year old sons?😉

I haven't been to Cardiff for a few seasons, last time I went we were kettled and chucked in the Wetherspoons by station and then marched to ground. Whats the situation been the last couple of seasons?! Last time was a ball ache

No pubs in Cardiff will let you in with an English accent full stop.

It's easy enough to loiter away from the station exit and avoid the escort, but you'll struggle for a drink anyway unfortunately- meanwhlie, they can drink on the harbourside here or wherever else they want.

There were no pubs open to away fans and a very loose escort with police directing you from the station to the ground.

You might get lucky if you can slip away down a side street, like a few did last year and find a pub that will let you in but there won’t be many.

After the game the season before last we couldn't get a drink after the game either, you had to have proof you lived in Cardiff/Wales. It was hours after, we had been clothes shopping but wouldn't let 2 females into a pub without this!

Best bet is either to drink in Bristol and travel over as late as possible or get off the train at Newport

Finally Confident enough this won’t be moved now so going to book train tickets 🤣

Anyone else booked, what train time  is best? Are we going to be marshalled into a pub or straight to the ground? Don’t want to get their too early or too late dependant on that really

Won’t be getting a beer in Cardiff that’s for sure. Possibility of stopping off in Newport on the way but that can be hit or miss as well.

Err, it was confirmed ages ago it wasn't moving

Trains are pretty regular so take your pick - don't forget the Groupsave tickets if travelling with 3 or more

Normally pubs wouldn't be opened, but being a Saturday afternoon it could be back to the usual only letting people in from Cardiff etc?
