Possible Vestegaard handball at 0-0?

It was as much a pen as the one awarded against Romero yesterday, but hey we’re not Arsenal.

Yesterday the ball hit Romero's hand as it was heading into the goal.

Romero's hand was also away from his body.

On Saturday when the ball first hits Vertegaard's hand it is heading away from the goal, and his arm is out to break his fall.

The second time it hits one of Vestegaard's arms it is above the cut of the sleeve, which is not counted as handball.

The two are not even remotely comparable.

As it happens I thought neither were a penalty, Romero’s hand was in a natural position as a lunged forward, plus he was only a yard away from the shot. In addition Bissouma was directly behind Romero and would have blocked the shot on the line.

My point was, you can bet your bottom dollar if Arsenal had been playing Leicester, a penalty would have been given.

They are comparable because in both cases there is no intent and in both cases their arms are in natural positions unlike having to tuck arms in which is unnatural, and in both situations both players have 0.1 of a second to react. As a low level ref the handball rule is a mess and im not giving either.

Romero has his arm fully extended away from his body.

Certainly not the same.

Only just gotten round to watching it.

Another one for NO PEN.

Absolutely not intentional, nothing much he could do about it.

But why Vardy wasn't booked for the celebration, I still find baffling.

Ex prem player that’s why he wasnt booked , when teams come down to the efl  there is an absolute love in with them from sky tv to pundits to refs .
mark my words if that was Sam Bell do that - book in 100% and as for the pen if that’s Naismith penalty 100%
