Silvio Dante
Early days at Birmingham for Wayne Rooney, who replaced a manager blues fans didn’t want to see sacked. But the fact is that in such a circumstance the new boss is rarely afforded time, and this is pretty much the anticipated reaction. Now, what does the Blues scenario remind you of?
BUTOR
Was there even the slightest show of support towards NP yesterday? I'd expect the new manager to get a polite smattering of applause

Supersonic Robin
Seems a bit dramatic to be giving a manager that kind of abuse after 2 games in charge!

Dunno but Birmingham have had four separate Managers since NP joined City who is the second longest serving Manager in the Championship. Bristol City have had 3 managers in coming up to 8 years which is one of the lowest managerial turnovers in the EFL/Premier League. For all the criticism that can be aimed at SL, trigger happy is not one of them.
Sir Geoff
Brilliant, love it. Eustace doing a fine job and is pushed out for a 'glamour' coach with no credentials / allegiance to Birmingham. Eff the board and all that.

For the first time in a while, it seemed most of the South Stand joined in with "Nigel Pearson's Cider Army". NP even mentioned it post match.

A little bit of context here. It isn't just the 2 loses in a row. The blokes shouting at Rooney are still upset from when Rooney was firing in to their Nan. 6

Better Red
Could lose the next three as very difficult games - that would make 5 straight defeats on the trot. Would make it interesting. Big if but very possible they than have Sheff Weds at home lose that and he would be gone. Not sure what odds for him to be gone by end of November

ralphindevon
I know a few Birmingham fans who weren’t over happy with Eustace saying the football was a hard, dour watch a lot of the time. The few times I saw them I think they may have had a point but after escaping relegation for a few seasons you’d think they’d just be pleased to be challenging nearer the top. Having said that the same supporters weren’t keen on Rooney taking over, maybe they just like a good moan.
