Fancy us today to do a job today. Cardiff are no great shakes and we will work our backsides off. Fancy a draw or to nick a 0-1 win, Cornick.

I work with a Cardiff fan he goes home & away says there getting better and are decent but do have a hiccup in them let’s hope todays one

I heard the other day that the combined wage of the playing squad is the lowest since we were last in League 1. To avoid the squad being relegated automatically we had to go with a smaller squad and of course that coincides with the largest injury crisis we’ve known in the last decade.

To be fair, that isn’t really a surprise as we cannot manage the workload of the players on a matchday. Would not be surprised to see the injuries get worse before they get better.

Love all the doom and gloom before a ball has been kicked

We're not expecting that bench to play 90 minutes, starting 11 should be good enough to give Cardiff a game

I'm going for an away win

Where you going ?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

For me, a point would be an achievement.

JJ at left back going to have to be on it to keep Bowler at bay, early winning tackle on him will settle his nerves, fingers crossed.

I'm a fan of the two Greek players they've got, the centre back Goutas is a good defender and Siopis really gets about the pitch well and keeps their team ticking.

I hope that's not Callum Robinson for them? if so, oh dear.

Going to be a tough task with the options off the bench but as long as they put the effort in we've always got a chance, COYR.

Waste of time playing, how can we compete

That was mad. Coaches held at services, slow escort in, held on coaches at ground until 2.30. Massive queues to be searched, concourse lively!

I'm no expert but aren't they targeting the wrong fans there?

I think if I was out to cause trouble I don't think I'd be going on the coaches

Slightly devils advocate here but….
Whose choice is it to go with a smaller squad?
We clearly have an overall wage cap which we’re working to.
Do we go with a small squad, with well paid older players, and rely upon the academy if we need to add numbers.
Or do we not pay the high wages to a number of older pro’s and instead sign a larger but younger squad, on lower wages per head, and not have to call upon 18 year olds who have no place in a championship squad?

As said - I’m being a tad devils advocate here, but ultimately, we’ve worked to a budget and decided to go with a small squad

Who and what ‘high wages’ are we talking Harry

High in relation to who / what ?

And what do you regard as high wages - what do you reckon the older pros on ?

I think I understand Fevs correctly that our wage budget is akin to 2015/16

Says everything doesn’t it
