TGH is woeful

Been fairly underwhelmed by him to be honest. Both goals together indirectly caused by his stupidity.

Said it before though, this is what happens when you give a manager sod all money to spend. You buy cheap cast offs, players like TGH just aren’t good enough if you want to push for the top 6.

2-0

16th and 5pts off Playoffs. 9pts off drop zone, but that's thanks to 3 seriously awful teams 4pts ahead of 21st.

Need a win next weekend, or I think the board may act.

You may be right….anything but a win and it could be adios as the owners look to make a scapegoat out of Pearson.

For all our effort, that's 7 shots on target for them, with two goals, and 1 shot on target for us (which I don't even remember).

Our starting line up was decimated so I guess we expected this, but created goalscoring chances has felt like a problem all season and actually only 6 teams have scored fewer than us.

Effed it up has uncle S… should have kept it simple… football… rugby etc separate.. stadium etc.. trying to do too much and now linked with too much risk… no chance of a sale.. who is gonna invest in Rugby and Basketball with practically no income?

^ This!

Didn't we even have a foray in to motorsport?! 🤦‍♂️

FT 2-0, scores flatters Cardiff.

We played well 2nd half, lost our way a bit after Mehmeti was subbed off (should have been Weimann). Mehmeti looked decent in a more central role.

Shout out for J.James and J.K. Lebel, both did pretty well on their debuts.

Didn't deserve that

Still think 2-o, as I said before ko, would be an honourable score line given the players available

Losing 2-0 against Cardiff in our division is not honourable . It's plain horrible.

Having aa injury crisis is truly unfortunate and I feel for NP but PLEASE dont try to polish a turd.

No real surprise. That team today would have struggled against a League 1 side today. A really hard watch that. Never looked like we were going to score.

We HAVE to sort this injury problem we get every single season at City.

And what would a new manager do differently with all of SL's restrictions and the existing injuries?

How negative!  But what do I know!!

Our fixtures to Christmas are not too frightening. I think we will do ok. I also think that SL is simply waiting for an opportunity to get shot of NP. Anything below par may well see us entering the new year with a young, bright managerial prospect and a £10m kitty to spend in January. Personally, I’m hoping for a steady, quiet few months.

Well we've heard a lot about how our team are so much fitter than when Rolls was here, but we've had injury crises ever since. Are we cursed or is something not right?

Harsh to suggest Max might have done better? Maybe. Maybe not.

Don't think so. Skip ahead to approx 23 seconds on the link below - the shot rather goes through him.

Not a massive blunder, but I think a Championship GK would typically hope to do better there

Not gonna judge on this game as we really were decimated by injuries, however .......

If Bell, Yeboah and Weimann are in squads when most of our player return then Pearson will have serious question against him

Likewise if he doesn't at least try and sign a decent keeper, because the one we have is no where near this level

Max isn’t good enough. No need to debate ur anymore. We are stuck with him and as much as I am a Nigel supporter he got his one wrong. We needed a keeper.

It’s tricky because it was hit hard and he made himself big… but he almost would have saved it if he stayed still. Bit harsh maybe but every week atm he seems to be brought up about a goal and that can’t be a coincidence. Doesn’t have much of a presence and doesn’t fill me with much confidence I have to say. Also his distribution has been shocking recently in my opinion.

Was great against Leicester the other week so he has it in him.

Ah good, it's TGH's turn this time.

He was possibly our best player the other night, but you lads crack on because I know you have to have one.

100%.

We have just let a goal in, who can I blame? Some on here always say Max (even like the 2nd when it is hammered past him from close range), Cornick? Usually.

Vyner? No longer.

Or a left field one like TGH, who has been decent.

FFS.

Perhaps our absent owner might like to say something, the injury situation is poor but he’s worse.

Didn’t even realise Weimann was playing today, completely anonymous again.

Not a lot.

Exactly!  So what's the point in sacking him yet, might as well wait until he's out of contract. Cheaper that way, then he can get (in his opinion) an up and coming young coach and we all know how that turns out.

This.
We are a joke of a club at the most senior levels & Nige is quite simply a sitting duck.

Lansdown’s games could end up taking us down & he would deserve nothing more.

It doesn't make sense does it? Is it the training ground, the training itself, the AG pitch or are we signing injury prone players? It's every single season and it is ******* our season up every time.

Decision making on the ball been so so bad today.

One chance from a corner and getting caught out by a nice bit of skill when we're throwing a lot forward, I'm not going to whinge about that.

We either took too long on the ball and invited pressure or didn't play the simple forward pass into areas with space and got pressed when we played the ball back.

And we had a few chances too, on the ball we weren't clever enough or played with enough purpose to get at them.

Max has to come for their first goal; anything in the six-yard box from a set piece should be keeper’s. The second’s another soft goal which Cornick or Knight should’ve stopped.

2-0 defeat was better than I expected before kick-off. Pray we get a few off the treatment table for next week, which we simply must win. The sad fact, again, is our first XI probably wins that today.

Proud of that performance, given our makeshift side.

IMO 2-0 flattered them.

Bizarrely, given our threadbare defence, I think it was our attack which let us down today, despite lots of decent possession and approach play we never really looked like scoring.

The Red Army were loud and proud too!

The “board” - i.e. Steve Lansdown” - may act but what will a new manager get? A bare bones squad of players with half of them injured and no money to spend. Unless, of course, SL suddenly realises the dire state of the squad and finds some lose change down the back of the sofa

You can’t have the number of injuries we have every season and put it down to luck. There has to be an underlying reason.

Oh, i thought he was better than Bentley at that?! Costs us so many points.
I will be astonished if we dont go looking for an experienced GK in January.

Yes - you're right in that I enjoyed being genuinely closer to the play offs for a couple of seasons and the best cup run and victory in my entire years of support.

Thing is- we were better then than we are now.  That is no dig at Nige, it's just a statistical fact.
