We really turned the game around. Boro were totally in control but we started to gradually change the pace of the game, unsettled them, and next thing you know Boro are making a string of mistakes at the back. Boom.

Wouldn’t say they were in total control, can’t remember that many clear chances for Boro, I think defensively we’ve managed them pretty well, despite the 2 goals it’s still not quite clicking up front

Well what an interesting half that was, well done lads.

Felt second best for large parts - you can see the Manning changes but there was a feeling of, it’s different, but is it better?

One shot in 35 mins or so wasn’t promising - despite us feeling better in possession, more options, with Vyner and Dickie especially excellent stepping out from the back.

Then a real moment of magic for TGH. Curling in from distance - cue an implosion from the otherwise organised and calm Boro.

A bad back pass put Conway in who should have scored - then seconds later he’s in again after a Fry fumble, who takes him out, and should have been sent off. Only a yellow.

From the ensuing free kick, Fry again clumsily takes out James and some justice is served as a penalty is awarded that Conway slots away.

Positive stuff on the whole, despite us looking a little too open out of possession at times, our set up, often three CB’s, Tanner - Vyner - Dickie with Pring and Sykes pushed up were allowing Boro big space in the channels.

Good start for Manning so far though…

He’s not bad that TGH

For the price we so say agreed looks a no brainer. Actually think there is more to come. At times he has a chance to drive forward in space but turns and plays it backwards. Still very young.

It’s not been a great watch but you can’t complain. Boro are a good side at this level.

Thought quite a few fans when the first and second goals went in.

Yeh Boro fans, but definitely not City fans. That includes those who dislike the Lansdowns and Tinnion.

It goes without saying that every City fans wants the team to win and succeed.

The club/team is forever, the owners/custodians are only temporary.
