I was there, Couldn`t hear properly for days afterwards. Stayed up in London and went to see us at Ipswich the next day - the less said about that the better! They had to cancel so never saw them. Saw all the others: Jam with the Cortina’s at Redland, Buzzcocks at the Locarno and so many others. Supporting Bristol's then top top Vice Squad in Warminster. Stalag 44 weren't messin about. Worked on their art seriously and weren't for the faint hearted. Lead singer was full on. Marched on stage MARCHED .. Full on in German military gear complete with SS military helmet. They were bloody shocking. So shocking lead singer really needed that helmet. Best thing they played was a cover of Motorheads Bomber with help of some kiddies jumpin on stage to play with them ..
