Spike
Why are we always so "unlucky", Vyner with his headed own goal, Tanner with this deflection... I can't help but think it's down to our own composure when under pressure. 1 Quote Link to comment

Like you said, poor composure and being sloppy in possession left our right flank exposed. Quote Link to comment

eardun
Weimann hasn’t been the same since his injury. Wonder if he's 100% right. Surprised he didn’t make way for Bell. Cue winner from Weimann! Quote Link to comment

1team
Sam Bell offers little, at least Mehmeti can dribble. Better still keep Sykes on unless injured. Edited December 3, 2023 by 1team 2 Quote Link to comment
The Coach
Weimann is done here for me. Imagine will be gone in the summer. Quote Link to comment
Ivorguy
Weimann is finished at this level, imo. Bet we hang on to him next season tho, as he won’t raise funds and Lansdowns won’t release funds. Cotts era on repeat now 1 Quote Link to comment

We seem to concede a lot of goals from sloppy play and giving the ball away, something should be done about it in training LM! Quote Link to comment

CityCiderEd
I feel sorry for Tanner having Weimann on his side, he just runs into areas that means Tanner can never really pass to him. Sykes coming off and Weimann staying on was a very strange decision. 3 Quote Link to comment

bexhill reds
I suspect that’s got more to do with the sheer amount of minutes he’s played for us and Eire over the past weeks and another 2 games this week Quote Link to comment

As Pete Hinton has said above, sub has killed us. Quote Link to comment

It's one of those things I don't think training can fix, to me it comes down to the mentalities of the players, you can't recreate a game where the outcome matters in training. In a match where points are on the line the pressure is higher, in training they can simulate it but ultimately the players know it's still training. Somehow the mentality has to be changed, maybe simulate a game and when someone scores the game stops, and they run through how that's affecting the league standings, which makes each goal show it's value in a real situation. I'm not sure how you train a player to be more composed but we certainly need someone who does because we concede so many silly goals, give away so much possession through bad passes and we're hardly firing regularly when it comes to goals so clean sheets matter more than ever. 2 Quote Link to comment

MelksRed
We are doing OK. Just need to get thr midfield to drop back....too close to the forward line meaning we have no transition from defence through the middle of the park. Quote Link to comment
Ivorguy
Well LM will definitely now know what Nige was up against. You can train as much as you like, but the players then have to replicate on the pitch. You can bring subs on,only given they improve performances. Quote Link to comment
And Its Smith
Tanner yellow card. Possible red in todays game. Slightly lucky there. If it’s VAR and slowed down probably a red Quote Link to comment
