The game is yet to settle down.

We're away from home on a midweek night.

Having run our asses off just 3 days ago. Away fro home.

We have a new coach.

We have players with heads full of new ideas, conflicting with what they've been instinctively doing for the last 2 years.

So we aren't going to play like Real Madrid tonight.

If we come home with a point, irrespective of the performance, then it's job done.

Well then that’s the head coaches problem. He shouldn’t make wholesale changes to leave the players confused; it should be a gradual transition. That’s ego

It's good but quite dangerous to have Naismith laying in like this???

Not telling lies though!

I'm appreciating their honesty after years of RobinsTV guests (mainly Tinnion) toeing the company line and reporting on a different game to the one we're seeing.

Both Naismith and Wells constantly talking about a lack of bravery to make angles and options for a pass, leading to too many long balls.... the two of them know long balls to Conway on his own against two 6'4 defenders isn't going to work, so why don't the eleven on the pitch know this?

A lot of excuses in there, heads full of new ideas ? its not really a very complicated game.  Not playing like real madrid ? have we ever ?  Still you seem happy enough with it and fair play to you.

Possibly because they are playing to orders
