westonred Posted February 1 Report Share Posted February 1 Breaking: City sign Dire Mebude on loan There's our mystery attacker with Dire Mebude joining on loan from Belgian side KVC Westerlo on loan until the end of the season. No, he's not a household name and, no, he's a 6ft 4in striker but based on the footage that's out there of him during his time with Manchester City, the boy can play. Whether or not that can be transferred into the Championship remains to be seen but it's kind of an interesting little signing. Signing a winger when we’ve moved away from playing wingers, signed a 4 year deal at the Belgian side last summer so can’t imagine there’s much chance of a perm.
