They’ve always struggled to attract and retain players because of geography, but having Nigel there could help. I’d be very surprised if Nige took the Argyle job after saying that the City job was his last in management. I can see him going into punditry tho. That said Nige lives within a 10 min drive to the M5 and it’s about an hour and 45 mins to Plymouth - my daughter was at Uni there and I’ve done that trip numerous times. One can be overwhelmed and one can be underwhelmed but there's no such thing as being just whelmed. That's only because Manning's not had a full season with Bristol City yet...

Better Plymouth than the Gas, I suppose. I will still be gutted though.

It's the most toxic I can recall for many, many years. Did you consider making a change immediately after that game? No, we are not going to make a change just because the fans are yelling. We have made loads of decisions that have been unpopular with the fans, and we have ignored a lot of demands from the fans. Look, I'm an investment guy. You become a good investment guy by being a contrarian. It makes you dig your feet in a bit more, particularly when that tiny minority of fans were being so abusive. I'm sorry but it makes us less likely to make a change they are demanding."

Just pay your money and pipe down. Edited April 9 by Numero Uno
