Ciderstreet
I hate to say it but Neil warnock or Steve cotterill is the type of manager I think the club needs. But for me I would like them to go and get Dennis berkamp

nickolas
No chance. We'll be a bit more down market of him. Scratching around for the scraps. SOD would do, i'd prefer billy davies. Either way, someone who can make those useless charlies see they need to show far more than they currently are will do. Either way, we might be quiet on the transfer front now until we get someone in so we may have to go with what we have.

Guest
Caretaker probably in first, as we will no doubt have to go through many applicants and then get it wrong. A decent manager COSTS and would prefer one thats not jobless, but who knows
CheddarReds
Sean O'Driscall would be nice, won't happen though.. he turned down Barnsley, he'll turn down us
Swindon8er
SOD, I'd like to think we're a bigger club than Barnsley, actually spending SOME money whereas Barnsley don't have a bean to spend.
belfastrobin
Davies or Di Canio. Failing that SOD
Tony Montana
SOD, I'd like to think we're a bigger club than Barnsley, actually spending SOME money whereas Barnsley don't have a bean to spend. SOD will be at Blackpool, not who we need in our situation anyway. Billy Davies is the man
Sampson City Reds
I think SOD will get the Blackpool job. I wont be surprised if we go after Mark Robins seeing as Mr Lansdown is a fan.

riddlesdown red
Look at existing prem defenders in the last year of their contracts who are keen to go into management and kill two birds with one stone OR pay the money for a Bruce Pearson McCarthy who are tried and tested in this leaue. Anyone who comes in and staves off relegation should get a massive off shore bonus from SL
ctid_Chivs
Surely under new policy its gotta be someone under 24??
TBW
di Canio would turn us down. He's built up a good project in Swindon and wouldn't want to drop that for the mess we're in at the moment. Best we try to forget that one. Coyle and Davies should definitely be considered. Taylor10
SOD will be at Blackpool, not who we need in our situation anyway. Billy Davies is the man This. I will be furious if we go for Mark Robins. We need a nasty bit of work to get us out the mess we are in. Not sure this is entirely realistic, but as I said on another post I would only settle for Billy Davies or Warnock if he got the sack. I hate Warnock with a passion but I would back him to save us. Failing that I would have GJ back, and wouldn't say no to Di Canio. I would not have anyone else I am afraid. The board NEED to get this right. Look what Ipswich did in getting McCarthy. We can't afford to get an inexperienced manager in, it has to be an experienced man that won't take any crap and we have to go out to get one of the above in my opinion. A tad unrealistic maybe, but its either that or league one.

Brizzle Jordan
1. Sean O'Driscoll 2. Billy Davies 3. Mark Robins Paulo Di Canio would be great but very very unlikely.
Welcome To The Jungle
SOD would transform this team into a passing side and would be good long term though we may go down. PDC and BD may be *****s that will keep us up but we may not move forwar. Would like all 3 but SOD for me if possible
