  1. He has to go now - i wouldn't give him next season and i wouldn't give him a penny to spend as it would be a waste. Unfortunately though i'm not at all convinced it would improve things given those in charge. We'll end up with someone else of similar mould as Manning and be in the same mess.

God it's depressing. We're a complete mess of a club.

  2. That was awful to watch and the result has just polished a large steaming turd that needs dealing with!

Very little passion, energy, pace and no urgency. If this is Mannings style then all it's doing is taking us backwards.

Because he's still living off 1 goal in 1994, he has nothing else

    Ridiculous comment.

BT (the player) was a legend (in footballing terms) for this club and always will be.

Appreciate there are strong feelings about him now in his current role but that's out of order.

Not getting at you Matt but part of this post is totally batshit. Why in the bluest of blue hell would you give the coach the summer to “get what he needs” when we had a solid base and to “get what he needs” is ripping that up on a punt of a head coach who has to date been ridiculously incompetent in game management, delusional in how well he thinks we’re playing and got the job based on a 12 game run of form.

Getting “what he needs” is a costly gamble with no merits.

What he needs is his P45, a personality transplant and to get the hell out of the club.

Well said. This is it for me. I don't want Manning pulling this team apart and i don't want this 'given time to rebuild' excuse given to Manning as a free pass.

The quality is already there in the team to build on. What needs improving is the coaching and instructions to get the best out of them.

  5. I wouldn't be supeised if SL/JL were struggling with this and whether to seek additional help or pray he can get us to the end of the season and safety and then review. I think they would be concerned about how bringing help in/changing the structure would make their decision process look appointing him in the first place.

What, when Hamilton dominated for a spell, it’s been cyclical for quite a while now.

See yawn fest. Zero competition for Max. How is that even fun for him? As a racer, you want to be tested and actually race surely. Dull and same old F1.

I’m afraid you will be in for a treat today….check our recent form. I don’t think we’ve played well since we beat you at home, and I’m not joking. Ramsey and o dowda not played all season almost. Grant is out….we can’t score for shit. 2.0

Then todays your day and you're going to win. We are really good at losing to struggling teams when they come to play us.

Bit harsh.. my point is that we are clearly not top 6 worthy and for us to reach those heights then we need to improve. Whilst JK’s effort and application are exemplary I personally feel that we need more quality in midfield. If things don’t change, they stay the same..

Sorry but you opening sentence in your firdt post says he's not up to it! You didnt say we need to improve the quality of midfield more broadly - you've focused it on him (and as per the thread title).  I dont disagree if your point is we need to improve the quality in areas across the squad IF we're to progress.

  9. **** me. A forum is all about debate and different opinion and i respect that, but what the actual ****!!!!!! Some of the threads and posts today are insane.

To have one now about Jason knight not being good enough! Really? Some people (thankfully not all) need to get their head out their ass, **** off and support Man City instead.

I think we lost something for a short spell when he went off and tanner was left exposed for a short while. The same when mehmeti went off. He and Pring are really starting to develop an understanding and then Cornick came on and for me Pring had too much defensive responsibility as cornick’s instinct is to play more narrow. Pring being as good as he is was able to compensate for a bit less support

I can only asume he's still being brought back carefully after such a long spell out. Good management.  Good point about Tanner. I think he plays with more confidence with McCrorie.
