They lost me when they disrespectfully sacked Nige.
Liam = wrong man at the wrong time. Not his fault, but he should never have come to this mess of a club.

I’m afraid you will be in for a treat today….check our recent form. I don’t think we’ve played well since we beat you at home, and I’m not joking. Ramsey and o dowda not played all season almost. Grant is out….we can’t score for shit. 2.0
Then todays your day and you're going to win. We are really good at losing to struggling teams when they come to play us.

Clear in the Centre.

New season, normal service resumed. Yawn fest here we go.
I miss F1 of old.

This is right up there with 'job for'.

Cue them appearing on ebay now at double/tripple the price
Someone is bound to do it.

Disapointed to have missed out on that. Really like it.

Uh, wait.....something needs clarifying about this deal.
Why, why, why on earth are we paying a fee now when we could get him on a free in the summer?

Derby fans in meltdown. Why Bristol City , ******* Bristol City etc etc. Love it
Replace it with Bournemouth, and it could be us!

Why ?
We have to keep Williams, King, James till the end of the season anyway and this is probably a signing brought forward from the summer.
And if it enabled the deal, like the lad from Aldershot, jobs a good 'un.
Plus perhaps it helped lower the fee we had to pay? Not a bad thing at all.

Bit harsh.. my point is that we are clearly not top 6 worthy and for us to reach those heights then we need to improve. Whilst JK’s effort and application are exemplary I personally feel that we need more quality in midfield. If things don’t change, they stay the same..
Sorry but you opening sentence in your firdt post says he's not up to it! You didnt say we need to improve the quality of midfield more broadly - you've focused it on him (and as per the thread title). I dont disagree if your point is we need to improve the quality in areas across the squad IF we're to progress.

**** me. A forum is all about debate and different opinion and i respect that, but what the actual ****!!!!!! Some of the threads and posts today are insane.
To have one now about Jason knight not being good enough! Really? Some people (thankfully not all) need to get their head out their ass, **** off and support Man City instead.

I think we lost something for a short spell when he went off and tanner was left exposed for a short while. The same when mehmeti went off. He and Pring are really starting to develop an understanding and then Cornick came on and for me Pring had too much defensive responsibility as cornick’s instinct is to play more narrow. Pring being as good as he is was able to compensate for a bit less support
I can only asume he's still being brought back carefully after such a long spell out. Good management. Good point about Tanner. I think he plays with more confidence with McCrorie.

McCrorie - wow. What a player we have and considering how long he's been out as well, how natural he's fitted in. The guy is fantastic and will only get better.

Blinded by the money. Zero sympathy for any of them.

Sometimes it just takes one or two players to make things click
McCrorie back fit & Twine joining could well make us that 5 - 10% better in games and take us on a winning run?
Bit early to give up on play offs but the next 5 games need to get 10 points to keep us interested
Agree and don't get me wrong, i'm pleased he's joined but the terms seem disapointing (and feels to me like a desperatation signing from us).
The difficulty with McCrorie and Twine is that both need time to settle and fit in with the team/tactics/instructions - even tougher for McCrorie given his issues so far he's had to overcome.

Good that the PL are finally clamping down, but the elephant in the room is Man City.
If found guilty, and it's hard to believe they aren't guilty of at least one of the 115 charges (those in the know suggest they are very much guilty on multiple counts), then they need to be absolutely clobbered by fines and penalties; particularly as they've denied the charges, threatened journalists that originally reported on the case, and are using the legal process to delay proceedings against them.
Be interesting to see the PL punish one of their crown jewels. Bet there are a few squirming at the potential of having to do that. Unfortunately i can see Man City getting away with it. Which will probably mean the 'smaller' cannon fodder clubs in the PL being punished on far less terms to make a point but not result in relegation.

Not seeing that to be honest , hopefully option to buy but a step up on what we’ve got, why is it desperate ? I think because as far as the majority of this FANS forum our season is over, we are 4 points if the playoffs ffs
I don't see our season as over but i also don't see us making the playoffs. I don't think we have the quality at the moment to be a top six side.

I guess perhaps something may have happened last minute to change the terms and City weren't willing to compromise if it meant a financial deal that was bad for us. Perhaps he didn't want to sign perm or wanted personal terms we weren't willing to meet. I can support that if it's the case.
If he does well, fits in and improves us attacking wise, then we'll have a better 2nd half of the season.

The outcome of this feels like a bit of a desperation deal from City.
Welcome though Scott.

That's what i thought. The way Hinsleburg had written that scentance suggested to me something has/had gone wrong.
