if by also making that character a woman you don't see the political agenda behind it then I think you're not telling the truth.
There's also a political agenda behind disparaging and questioning the character before the movie has even been released.
It's 2020. If there's a kickass black female character, so what? They've had kickass females and black people in Bond movies for decades, why is it suddenly a concern?

Quantum of solace is the worst film ever made. I thought warriors of vitrue was the worst film ever but QOS beat it.
It had the best theme tune though.

Looking forward to this one most out of the Craig era.
It can't be as bad as Quantum of Solace or Spectre.
If it's up there with Casino Royale & Skyfall then I'll be happy enough.

Saw this and thought of this thread. Bridewell prison was burned during the 1831 riots.

This was on a wall on Bath Road a few years back.
There is a Bristol history podcast (called Bristol History Podcast ) that covered the history of riots in Bristol.

How's the Fruit Market going? We haven't heard a lot about that of late.
It went really well. They managed to buy a dozen oranges and got some grapes thrown in for free.
It's their best result in decades.

They're all odd fans, as anyone who was on a train out of Wembley with them will know. Subdued and morose as though they'd lost. It's been widely commented on on here too.
Yeah I remember. A mate of mine couldn't take the utter silence on the tube train and just said "why the hell aren't any of you celebrating? We'd be going ******* mental!". They sort of weakly smiled and went back to looking depressed about winning.

I would've thought all Hull fans have a liking for us as we're forever part of their history on one of their best days ever to be a Hull City fan.
I have no qualms about that day or any ill feeling towards them.
I would rather be involved in a match to get to the Premier League rather than lose a match to go out of the league.
Spot on. The 15ers are insane to still be harping on about our play off final. We were 90 minutes away from the top division, they will never get anywhere near a game like that.
There's no real reason for Hull to dislike us, although the odd fan probably does.

Even if the family are worth far more than that, it's pretty meaningless. We've had an actual billionaire as owner for a long time and it didn't stop us struggling in League One, getting relegated from the Championship and has yet to get us into the Premier League.
Wael's family being worth £80m, £200m or £500m also doesn't mean they'll put any cash into a horrible little club of inbreds.

Hmmmm. The area known as St Phillips MARSH that apart from a blocked up lock at Totterdown Basin is essentially an island. Nope, can’t see any problems.
It'd be a shame if it sank like a shitty version of Atlantis.

I thought this was going to be a picture of a new training ground not the Mem
There's way too much grass for that to be the Mem.

The bizarre things you see on your travels...…
driving home tonight through Old Down (the Thornbury one) I saw an actual adult man wearing 'da famus quarterz' sporting the No2 on the back with the name LITTLE emblazoned across the back! They walk among us!
Sounds like they were filming a new series of Trigger Happy TV.

Concrete, metal and a nice view. With no tents in sight.
It looks cold but otherwise would be a big improvement on the Memorial. Maybe the 15ers could move to Scotland? I'm sure they could be a half decent Highland/Lowland League side.

It is. But aside from sizeable crowds, they refuse to acknowledge they are a less successful Ipswich Town who have won more than they have.
Ipswich never won the Gloucestershire Cup and so the 15ers are bigger.

Let’s be honest, I doubt it will ever be the same again.
WHO saying you might be able to catch covid again, if that’s the case nothing will be “normal” again until a vaccine is found.
If you can catch Covid-19 again, then there’s not likely to ever be a vaccine.
The WHO have only really said that they have no evidence of immunity, that’s not the same thing as immunity not existing. It’s early days, they are just being careful until they have proper evidence.
It’s highly unlikely that immunity isn’t gained after having it though. Covid-19 is a virus and humans will produce antibodies that combat it. There’ll be freak cases where a tiny proportion of people catch it twice, but that’ll be problems with their immune systems, not the virus.
The big danger is that this virus acts like flu and mutates quickly. That’ll mean we will be in danger of catching it over and over because it’ll be a “new” disease every year/few years.

Nah, rats actually build.
Rats are known to burrow extensively, both in the wild and in captivity, if given access to a suitable substrate. Rats generally begin a new burrow adjacent to an object or structure, as this provides a sturdy "roof" for the section of the burrow nearest to the ground's surface. Burrows usually develop to eventually include multiple levels of tunnels, as well as a secondary entrance.
