Get that stadium built quick, they must be wedged in every week.... ?

Seriously though, Pompey bring a big following and they still don’t get over 9k at home. Pathetic from a club who tell everyone that they’ve got amazing support. Wonder what the excuses were yesterday?

Big game at the dump today Pompey in town, sold out away following I presume, Gasheads been blaming poor away support for their low crowds so today should be a good gauge, surely 8.5k Gas can make the effort today and with away fans that should push the crowd towards 10k......it is raining tho ???

They would turn up but there’s a Killers tribute act on at the Fleece.

Daleks arrive at the Memorial stadium

"Exterminate EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE EXTERMINAT....wait....what are we destroying here?  Did the Cybermen get here first?  Who left a bloody tent in the middle of this place?  Is this Chernobyl?  Will we catch a disease?  Retreat RETREAT RETREAT RETREAT"

    Daleks leave the Memorial stadium.

Why would any non-fan buy Rovers and spend many years and many tens of millions on a new stadium, training ground, youth system and first team when they could buy a championship club?

    Squiffy
Because the latent potential and possible future rewards are greater for a club in our division and geographic location than for a similar outfit where there is already market saturation. There is also the opportunity to fine tune a new stadium development to maximise revenue which could be more restrictive and relatively more expensive at an established Championship club. I bet the output of a comparative spreadsheet would put us very close to the top of a list of potential high return investments in football.

If we are just talking about League football then he is probably right. Having only 90 clubs above you means your close to the top, right?

    Pringles trending on Twitter.

WAG #3 has entered the game.

I had no idea about the Pringles story until Danielle Lloyd also started trending.  Googling "Danielle Lloyd Pringles" soon gave me the answer.

I mean, that's certainly an interesting way of eating crisps.....

They are still moaning that poor attendances are linked to the fact you can't pay cash at the turnstile.

Apparently you have to go to a ticket tent to buy your ticket and then go in. Just like pretty much every other club has done for the last decade.

Don't be too harsh on them, they have only just moved away from the barter system.

The Fewers are claiming gates are down 3,500 - can't be that many surely, as that would imply they have been averaging close to 9,500.

    Is #GasMath the new #gaslogic?

10,000 - 3,500 = 9,000.  Plus you have to carry over the 40,000 locked outside which gives you a total of 60,000 loyal, prowed and true fans.
