Not seen it can you explain what happened cheers

SA player got fouled just inside the box, no fk given, Nigeria break on the counter and score. VAR pops up, play gets pulled back for a pen to SA. They score and take it to ET.

  2. Good 45 for there for SA. From what i have seen from them this tournamet they are one of the most organised sides, good team ethic. No real star players to rely on. They just need that goal.

I have to say I feared for the ref for a minute there, I was sure someone was going to lamp him. Be a lot of retrospective red cards to come I reckon.

Likewise. He did get a couple of shoves before they escorted him off. Fine and more reds for sure.

Haven’t listened to it, as we all know Tinnion is a bullshitter, but seems as though judging by the earlier posts that Twine isn’t likely to stay - then what the hell did we bother getting him on loan for then? What a waste of money.

He said we don't have a deal in place but they know he will be available in the summer.

Doesn't mean he will sign of course but having him on loan first might give us a better chance...might not!

I've really been enjoying this year's AFCON which continues to throw up shocks. With South Africa defeating Morocco tonight (top African team on FIFA rankings) all of the North African giants (Morocco, Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia) are now out of the competition. With holders Senegal also sent packing by the hosts Cote D'Ivoire (who only made the last 16 by the skin of their teeth) the tournament is really up for grabs. Personally I'd love to see little Cabo Verde win it.

I've also enjoyed the colourful fans, many of whom seem to move, chant and clap in unison. A particular favourite was the massed ranks of what appeared to be the Senegalese WI who line danced and clapped their way through the game.

I've also been enjoying it. It's as random as ever and this tournament, seeing the big boys go out only adds to it. One of my best mates is SA so i've been right behind them, a huge upset tonight. Caught the last 15 after our game, saw a red card, missed pen and the second goal. You never know what you are going to get in any AFCON game.

The atmosphere in games is so different to a European match, no songs or chanting as we'd recognise it but they do no stop!

Djuric (don't forget the J) underwent surgery for a double hernia in March 2017, and groin in August and December 2017.

Suffice to say his time at City was painful.

PS Here's a picture of Milan scoring the winner against Ipswich in March 2018. You may recognise the Town defender (minus facial hair) failing to stop him!

Remember it well, it was bloody freezing that day.
