I would agree with this. Lone striker isn't for him
-
I thought Tommy played better on Friday than he has done for a while, the reasons for that are maybe a different debate altogether. However Friday aside I believe Wells has helped both him and Bell's game. Earlier in the season they both seemed to play better when Wells was on the pitch. Obviously Bell is injured so can't compare his stats, and I haven't looked at any, but rarely do Conway and Wells get any game time together now? Previously, I mean in past seasons, I thought Wells was sometimes guilty of trying to hard, eg wasting energy chasing hopeless balls instead of playing more intelligently. I Friday I thought he somewhat reverted back to that and was blowing almost immediately.

Yes I would agree with that. We shouldn't be jumping in and paying a huge fee, even if it was possible. I just enjoyed what he was trying to do, being positive and bringing players into the game with intelligent passes rather than the usual hit and hope approach.

For the game time he has had in the last two months or so, I as I said I liked the look of him. Fully match fit I would expect him to be a step above Sykes.
-
I really like him, sadly he isn't ours or likely to be. I wonder how different the season would be (on and off the pitch) if we had him available for all matches since January?

would you have travelled to Sunderland if moved to Sunday?

I remember all that chaos. I was there too, stayed up and will be doing so the same. I heard that the number we have sold is a lot lower than usual, unsurprisingly -

Interesting. Did we start with 2000 though? -

Out of interest where are you getting that figure from? I would guess you are no where near, no where at all. -
Everyone knows this surely?

I loved that series, can certainly see some similarities.

I'm not so sure, you might get surges rushing from one finishing to another act immediately starting? That's assuming there will be a crowd of course!
-
No, me neither. I'm not

There doesn't seem to be much overlap time for people to move from one stage to another?

I'm not sensing any outrage. More disbelief and laughter type of feeling. For me too its about priorities, let's get a few basics right and bring back a bit of feelgood between the club and the fans. Also perhaps not really the time or the place for Zak, or whoever is behind this, to be launching a personal range. They would have probably been better exploring this in the close season, not amid the emotions and turmoils of this one.

Well if it is it's pretty convincing, obviously I didn't proceed but I tested out the buying process and it took me to the payment stage. So it's as real as can be
-
I must admit if I had to guess which one of our players would bring out a clothing brand based on himself, Zak would be so far down my list I would have said 'I give up, tell me'

They really are not reading the room, can they be that far out of touch?
-
Is he a better designer than Jon though, could be in for some interesting shirts next season if they do a joint venture

Hull do, or did, the same price range for any stand in the stadium I think. All stands are equal.
-
Isn't it them who do free away travel too, or they did until recently? Great value being a Stoke fan if you disregard the football
-
Of course the club will want him to get an international call up...he's more sellable then £££

I'm up there for a long weekend. How does it affect trains when we are up there. I was hoping to go to Edinburgh on Friday or Sunday, not sure which operator that is? Also is the Metro likely to be affected? Anyone have any knowledge or info please?

I understood King wants to see out the rest of the season and move back up Leicestershire way. Well that's what his wife said on Social media months ago, and wives tend to get what we want

At best he was unprofessional. His comments didn't upset me as such, but him using his position to make them did. Shame on WBA, they need to employ more professional people as it reflects on them as a club.

Music is so much personal taste. I tend not to like many female singers in general, seeing even just that clip I've decided she's not for me. Last Glastonbury I went and saw Raye who was highly recommended to me by many people. She didn't do it for me at all but has since gone on to win loads and loads of music awards and nominations at the Brits (?). I certainly wouldn't see her again, but like I said music is personal taste. I do like Glastonbury for that, having the choice and discovering new stuff. If you don't like something you can move on, but unless it's really bad I tend to stick it out and try to get the feel of it. I stuck out Raye but wish I hadn't if I'm honest.
