I did say at the time they probably had a vape or something! Btw, they didn't get my power bank either, I distracted her by telling her I only had sweets and a bar of chocolate and she was more interested in that

I did see a Sunderland fan and a City fan were taken off, well we were told by train security that he had admitted it so we all could go. The driver wouldn't move until it was sorted. They had been saying all along it was a group of 7 City fans but didn't know who it was, so all were going to be removed from the carriage, the 7 then separated, then removed. That was the plan by security who were waiting for the Police.
-
Dunno. But it was an experience being one of only 2 City fans in the next carriage along. Luckily a lot of good natured banter from the Sunderland fans and Geordies! Must have been a good half hour or more delay
-
I saw them both, and 2 or 3 blokes before that. Yes they looked young, and certainly about 15 police and stewards was a massive over reaction.
-
Someone I know couldn't take a lighter in. I've never seen such measures at any other ground
-
Yes no coins or vapes. Last time it was power packs too. They did ask me if I had a power pack (I did)
-
They think they found who has done it and metro just moving again, after they removed him £1000 fine possibly. CCTV takes 2 weeks to confirm
-
Trouble on the metro too. Apparently a Bristol City fan has pulled the emergency stop on the metro. We have started again and now waiting at a station for 30 mins for the Police

The wind is swirling. Looks worse this end, the end we are kicking into this next half. Saying that tho they have had better chances attacking this way in the 1st half. The wind is awful, getting battered by it even this high up in the stand. Good job it's not cold or it would be unbareable -

Now reading he got a kick to the calf at Plymouth, so an injury opposed to a strain I guess. Either way he is out and will be missed as you say. -

Sunny but really windy here. Ground staff have removed the sky banner things each side of the goal Infront of us as they kept pinning them down only for them to blow onto the pitch again. Will be hard to control a football for sure. -

I watched them get off the coach and commented that not many got off, seems I was right in my observation -

I was chatting to a very knowledgeable steward yesterday. He said scouts were taking an interest in Whittaker, some clubs were making regular visits. He mentioned Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Leicester as the most interested.

I would agree with this. Lone striker isn't for him

I thought Tommy played better on Friday than he has done for a while, the reasons for that are maybe a different debate altogether. However Friday aside I believe Wells has helped both him and Bell's game. Earlier in the season they both seemed to play better when Wells was on the pitch. Obviously Bell is injured so can't compare his stats, and I haven't looked at any, but rarely do Conway and Wells get any game time together now? Previously, I mean in past seasons, I thought Wells was sometimes guilty of trying to hard, eg wasting energy chasing hopeless balls instead of playing more intelligently. I Friday I thought he somewhat reverted back to that and was blowing almost immediately.
-
Yes I would agree with that. We shouldn't be jumping in and paying a huge fee, even if it was possible. I just enjoyed what he was trying to do, being positive and bringing players into the game with intelligent passes rather than the usual hit and hope approach.
-
For the game time he has had in the last two months or so, I as I said I liked the look of him. Fully match fit I would expect him to be a step above Sykes.
-
I really like him, sadly he isn't ours or likely to be. I wonder how different the season would be (on and off the pitch) if we had him available for all matches since January?

would you have travelled to Sunderland if moved to Sunday?

I remember all that chaos. I was there too, stayed up and will be doing so the same. I heard that the number we have sold is a lot lower than usual, unsurprisingly -

Interesting. Did we start with 2000 though?
