  1. I saw that too, wasn't even given as a foul throw was it? it hit the ground hard and bounced 15 feet into the air, most odd
  2. I guess they are the empty seat holders on the whole. Now there is a choice of paying a premium price and leaving the seat empty or giving it up. Either way the club wins, and by doing this people in other stands can have smaller increases. Lets face it £50 for a ticket and a free shirt was too cheap and it was abused. The price increase has possibly freed up some seats for much wanted POTD and brought bthe SS more inline with other stands.
  3. My initial thought was Vicar. I know we need prayers, but still
  4. So you want kids running on the pitch at any random time do you, I doubt that. Let a couple get away with it and they will all start again. Remember all the shirt beggers we used to have towards the end of matches a couple of years ago.? I don't want to see that again thanks
  5. It never is as like we all know ST holders are counted in as standard. But actual bums on seats is always at least 5000 off what is given, yesterday it was more due to all the factors previously mentioned I would think
  6. Not unusual, but he certainly doesn't attend every match like he used to. As for the attendance, I'd take about a third off the figure given and that would be closer
  7. No. He walked around but I guess he rightly gauged the mood and didn't risk it. Right call to be fair
  8. He's in having his dinner Edit; he's back out laughing and wearing sunglasses
  9. So how would you have made sure the fans who regularly travel away get the best chance of getting a ticket, how would you have made the small allocation fairer? Full disclosure I am one of the fans who qualify, and yes fully question my sanity look ruefully at my bank balance
  10. I know what you mean, but I doubt if the tea lady is held in such high esteem and has helped loads of people through charity matches and giving up her free time. That said i believe the club were excellent with the Fillingham family when Lisa died last year, she was an long term employee for those that weren't aware. I have given. as they say there by the grace of God go I.
  11. I'm keeping him under the radar then, just in case PS He was spotted at AG a few weeks ago!
  12. There is STILL only one man for me, if you know you know. Everytime there is even a slim chance of a managerial change I get my hopes up, only to be cruelly dashed
  13. Big fire very near the ground. Sky have video but I can't link. Preston fans only 50 miles away too when they heard. Got to feel for those on trains or in hotels, and the ones by car. The smoke was likely toxic and not safe.
  14. And it hurts even more when the sub who was very influential was a player we released, some time ago I grant you, but he was once on our books.
  15. Cam hadn't played 90 mins since Leeds over a month ago. Just a couple of matches ago he looked so not match fit I thought it would be a while before he had to play a whole match. He should have been subbed or at least that side shored up with some help.
  16. Not sure if it had been the other way round we would have been awarded it?
  17. I always believe there are around 5000 less in the stadium to the actual figure given
  18. The others certainly didn't come over as close as they usually do. The only other player i saw doing anything similar to Joe was TGH, he was mainly clapping but did also hold his hands up in apology too. Most others clapped or went almost straight down the tunnel. Dickie looked like he was in 'discussion' with another player too. That's all I noticed

    Honestly

That would call for experience needed. The structure we have over his head will make it almost impossible to be attractive (except for the money) won't be attractive to anyone worthwhile. Something has to change in how we operate, or with who.
  20. I do totally accept what you are saying, however it's hardly Manning's fault for taking the role is it? From what I understand he was approached by us, he didn't apply for the post and therefore didn't have to 'dupe' anyone. If we were stupid enough to offer a 3 and a half year deal AND pay a decent compensation package for him (as well as the almost 6 figure sum to ditch Pearson), well of course he would take the deal. It was a hasty appointment with not enough groundwork done, but not Manning's doing.
