Tinnion tells us he was the best player in Ireland.
He also tells us in yesterdays interview that he hasn’t featured yet as he is still in “pre season” as the Irish league only finished in November!!

    November mind!!

His last game was 3rd November. So he’s had 4 months and 10 days off so far.
This would be the equivalent of it now being 18th September if you take the same number of days since we ended our season on 8th May.

Interestingly, the other “best player in Ireland” (my opinion), Jack Moylan, also finished on 3rd November but has now made 10 appearances for Lincoln. They gradually integrated him and he’s now started the last 2 and scored 4 goals. A couple of ‘wow’ goals too.

Anyway, my point is, 2 players who finished the Irish season on 3rd November. 1 has now made 10 league 1 appearances, the other is so-say still in pre-season and hasn’t even had a single minute for our under 21’s.

What’s REALLY going on with him?? Is Brian telling us porkies again. There’s no way this kid is still in early pre season mode. Why has he not played a single minute for the 21’s at the very least??

probably done his hamstrings, its a major requirement for our lot innit 👍

and if you talked to the right person you would know exactly why Nige was sacked.

do you thinkthere are many in this position?  weve been through so many scenarios on here the truth must be amongst it, even if the poster didnt know if it was true.

it will come out one day and i dont think it will be good reading but there will be a period of time before that happens so it wont seem quite as damning

So you don't think that's where we should be right now, had they bit made the ludicrous decision to sack a man who had sailed the ship through very rocky waters, keeping us in the division when many wouldn't of. A man who has heaps of experience in the game, clearly guiding us in the right direction?

brilliant short concise post and i will add to it A man and  his staff that truly believed we were on the verge of achieving just that this season, not just one of them but all of them as a team,  all helping each other in positive ways,  unlike where we are now, just HOPING to improve and HOPING it will all click into place. never once did pearsons team give up even with the injuries and the lack of funds

If I thought you could find a way
I'd tell you to go get lost
But why ask you to pay attention
When you brain can't stand the cost?
Look at you and the state you're in
Next to you even a brick is thin

    (Chorus:)
You oughta scratch from the human race
You are a waste of a name
A waste of time and a waste of space
You've only one claim to fame
    I don't like you

If a thought came in your head
    It'd die of loneliness
    You rate absolute zero
No more and not even less
Look at you, oh what a state
Next to you short planks are underweight

  5. i thought the job manning accepted was to get our top 6 capable squad into the top six quickly playing front foot football?

i understood that to mean using the players we have ,not bringing in players who can play that way.

if that is the case and he cant do it without his own players then he lied at interview saying he could do it or tinnion lied about the goals to be reached

As a regular, yes, I agree. I think he would've made a better occasional impact sub than Mebude however. He carried the ball forward and provided he got the close support to do that, we would at least be going in the right direction.  The lad isn't afraid of making a tackle either.

i know hes still raw but i see some semenyo in there when he goes barging forward, as a sub and bit of training at releasing the ball at the right time would be very useful late in games especially when we cant fill our bench

I think this is the problem. His role as TD in a structure of RG / PA (CEO) and NP (Football Manager) basically had two main facets:

    1. Looking after the Recruitment Dept

    2. Linking Academy to First Team

And I think that was a good use of his skillset and complimented the other two. Almost as perfect a set-up as you could imagine.

But lose the two either side of him, increase his R&R and you deeply expose the whole set-up. How much a part Tins has played in creating that I don’t know, but we are so much weaker for it.

would it bother you Dave if i mentioned another cosy ex player developing his coaching skills in the 18s? would that make the ideal snug set  up they seem to want?

Not so much the defenders of Manning, but those who rubbish NP and seem to be brainwashed.

Are they on the payroll or something?

i dont think they ever met him or fully understood just how hard he was working to turn things around here.  the uphill struggle for the first 2 years before we approached the top of the hill, then to actually get us over that hill with no investment and start kicking on. either that or they simply couldnt accept his persona.

some people just cant see it or will not accept he was a better fit for a clueless set up without him than the rabble we have now..
