We’re not safe today as it stands but we shouldn’t need a shed load of points to get there either. I said last week we need to “turn up” three times this season to be safe. Without really turning up last Sunday that’s down to two now. It would be a caLIAMity to blow it from where we are.

as much as i dont think it would happen, its a horrible feeling knowing that it could and it is possible after seeing how bad he is capable of making the team play

Spot on and the blame must land at the so called City legend Tinnion,at least we knew where we stood with Pearson, does anyone believe a word that comes out of our manager or the people above him anymore if they did before

you cant can you? for starters, you dont even know if its his own thoughts or what his instructed narrative is from whoever above him, add to that we know those above lie so its anybodies guess if anything is how it really is anymore

If you are going to go for more than 5 games then membership is worth it as you save £5 a game and it's £25, plus you get 5% off purchases in the bar and outlets.

i wished i had in ljs cup run season. i went to all of the games prior to the man u game then couldnt get tickets to the big ones

He hasn’t got to that chapter yet .

ah,the famous book, the oone that our leaders looked at the pictures and thought 'yep, thats the way to do it' liams reading the text  and cant fathom out why hes being asked to implement 'How not to play championship football' by JR Hartley

Two more here that won't be renewing. The football is so boring under Manning and there is no chance of that changing, it would appear. Relegation scrap incoming, next season.

Will probably buy a half season ticket in November when he's sacked.

spend it while youve got it mate, tinnion wont get anyone in thats any different. he thinks manning is a fantastic coach so he will only get another one like him, keep an eye on the league one top  two then take your pick. my guess is thats what he did this time

    Tinnion. This is on you!

Manning produce a team that’s not scared to play football or **^^ off!

dont be too harsh on manning,i think he could do it if he was allowed to. tinnion is most likely pulling the strings on how we are playing, no manager in the efl would stick to plan A for as long as he has unless their job depended on it.

    Fed up with the bloke.

At the end of the season he should donate a month’s wages to Zak & Rob Dickie, seeing as they’ve had to play virtually every game because he’s seemingly never fit.

Cornick takes plenty of flak on here, but just like Anis, since joining he’s yet to miss a single game. He might not be the greatest but at least he’s available to play his part.

If anyone is interested in taking Naismith off our hands this summer I’d snap their hand off.

just hope he isnt another one that plays out of his skin to get new contract then go sick again

I've come to the conclusion they think it's the players that need changing, not the Coach.

So their theory is - buy some new players in the summer and everything will be alright.

on condition we get them all for less than what we get for TC

Yep. I watched the Walsall game back on EFL TV.
Reyes did make some good saves and of course the penalty, but he just scares the hell out of me when the ball is on the air.
Bunker is usually played at DM and is usually technically good but does have the odd lapse. His size is useful though. Cotts has played him at RCB in most games so far but he does change it up and puts him back into DM too. Versatility. He’s had a good season to be for to him.
Doidge has made a good impact up top - as you say, more as that willing runner as much as anything. McAllister is the most technically gifted player they have but he does need to get his head up sometimes.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Osadebe too. Wasn’t sure about him when he signed but he’s putting in some bloody good shifts and was good defensively last night too.
Cotts definitely had them organised and playing for each other (and basically playing for their league status).

Yep. Huge game this week v Sutton. I’d usually only do FGR if they kick off at a different time, but this week I might forego watching our stream v West Brom and head up the road for Sutton instead. Huge game.

I also recall get your name on your seat in the Dolman.

They then managed to spell my first name wrong (who the **** spells it “Grahame”?) & replaced the seats anyway about 2 years later.

    Got to love this club.

that must have been tins job back then🤣

  14. another little problem here is there is now nobody else who has a scooby of an idea whats going on  in most departments as BT is now running all of them

the only way to sort it is for bt to have a few comms lessons, i expect nailsea school would do an evening class of some sorts

but then he needs courses on the rest of the stuff hes got to learn, wont leave him much time at the club and thats a sackable offence as we know

The flip side is if he was popular fans would be praising him for his honesty.

or being a bit nippon denso.  regarding mickey bell, i hope they arent doing what they always do and looking at ex players for the future, i loved him as a player and often had a game of pool with him saturdays after home games but i cant stand the bloke now. might be a good coach but i dont do arrogance

Tinnion tells us he was the best player in Ireland.
He also tells us in yesterdays interview that he hasn’t featured yet as he is still in “pre season” as the Irish league only finished in November!!

    November mind!!

His last game was 3rd November. So he’s had 4 months and 10 days off so far.
This would be the equivalent of it now being 18th September if you take the same number of days since we ended our season on 8th May.

Interestingly, the other “best player in Ireland” (my opinion), Jack Moylan, also finished on 3rd November but has now made 10 appearances for Lincoln. They gradually integrated him and he’s now started the last 2 and scored 4 goals. A couple of ‘wow’ goals too.

Anyway, my point is, 2 players who finished the Irish season on 3rd November. 1 has now made 10 league 1 appearances, the other is so-say still in pre-season and hasn’t even had a single minute for our under 21’s.

What’s REALLY going on with him?? Is Brian telling us porkies again. There’s no way this kid is still in early pre season mode. Why has he not played a single minute for the 21’s at the very least??

probably done his hamstrings, its a major requirement for our lot innit 👍

and if you talked to the right person you would know exactly why Nige was sacked.

do you thinkthere are many in this position?  weve been through so many scenarios on here the truth must be amongst it, even if the poster didnt know if it was true.

it will come out one day and i dont think it will be good reading but there will be a period of time before that happens so it wont seem quite as damning

So you don't think that's where we should be right now, had they bit made the ludicrous decision to sack a man who had sailed the ship through very rocky waters, keeping us in the division when many wouldn't of. A man who has heaps of experience in the game, clearly guiding us in the right direction?

brilliant short concise post and i will add to it A man and  his staff that truly believed we were on the verge of achieving just that this season, not just one of them but all of them as a team,  all helping each other in positive ways,  unlike where we are now, just HOPING to improve and HOPING it will all click into place. never once did pearsons team give up even with the injuries and the lack of funds
