  1. a question i raised today at work was what will happen to new drivers?  thing is,if new drivers pass their tests in electric cars, they wont be able to drive a manual petrol or diesel so would have to find cheaper electric first cars, cant see that happening for many years to come

  2. benny ,coppell and pulis are the lowest for me. Sod got us jet so he gets an extra point for that. cotts and gj 9s, both brought lasting good times,i mean a seasons worth. millen was good too but shouldnt have risked the full managers job. pearson can have a 9 too, points deducted as time goes by if we dont pick up. why? because i like him

The danger of putting Tins in charge for let’s say 3 months is he starts winning regularly.

I know that sounds daft but then what? You’d have the whole crowd wanting him to stay and then we all know what happens next, like Millen or Oli at Man Utd, it goes tits up, it nearly always does.

I know we could have this scenario with anyone but I wouldn’t want Tins to end his time with City like that again……….the 3 months of winning games would be quite welcome though…..

i was going to mention millen, brilliant no2 here and stood in  a couple of times  but returned to no2 with new managers, unfortunately,it seems if youtake the hot seat, and you get the bullet, (which you will eventually)  you are out the door,no coming back. lets not even consider putting tinman through that again

  4. i read it as the reigns have been handed over to curtis fleming for the unforseeable, now he can try what he thinks best without being worried about being frowned upon by anyone for his decisions, good luck to him,we know he knows how to win a game, hes got a 30% win rate of games so far .

in the meantime, nige can recover without worrying about anything being on his shoulders, win win for both of them. get well soon NP, i hope to see him back and the pair of them be successful at city, just got to hope the players trust CF now

Think Jon Lansdowns lost interest. The novelty of running a football club has probably worn off now he's realised it's hard work.

But to be fair if I was the heir to a billion pound fortune I'd not be dragging along with bristol city like a dog with an itchy bum hole.

i think the vet said it was sweat glands when our dillan was doing that, funny as .... to watch, even funnier imagining jl doing it

Bit of a cop out that imo. I looked on my phone after about 25 mins and the pass completion was 52% so I'm not sure how he can be happy with the first half, I took the piss out of Rotherham last year when you played them because at half time they had a 48% pass completion. 52% in the first 25 minutes is diabolical. That's either a case of players playing at a standard far above what they should be (clearly not, these aren't conference level players) or the structure and shape make it difficult to make the passes and play through, or it's tactical but even then I don't think even Warnock or Big Sam or Pulis would take that.

I think there's an element of what he says though, nobody really bust a gut when it mattered, there wasn't enough aggression, there was a real lack of concentration (the penalty is some of the worst defending you'll see all week especially given the time and situation). But even then Weimann is a player you might not apply the lack of desire and poor attitude too but he's running around pointlessly half of the time which is a coaching thing, Massengo looked under-coached too (he was awful, I was impressed with him against QPR but today I was really disappointed, even the basics weren't there).

They don't even have to be bad players or players that aren't arsed but once you get a group of players in a long-term rut, it's easy for them to just go through the motions and the atmosphere never recovers. You could pick them off individually and they might look decent elsewhere, there's clearly a group problem that needs smashing through whoever is manager going forward.

too true, sudbury were trying much harder to defend last night, even at 3-0 down

  7. what they need to do is change the diesel emissions test, instead of seeing if light passes through the exhaust gas, actually measure the harmful gases they are pumping out.  id be very surprised if they got anywhere near as low as a modern petrol engine

On reflection Baker v Forest certainly let Brennan Johnson know he was about, a couple of really aggressive tackles.

Mistimed the one on Spence for the penalty but had imposed himself on his opponent before that, to be fair.

baker frightens me when hes got his aggressive head on,in a way that im worried we would soon be down to 10 men
