Weird because Pearson has seemed much happier with much worse performances in post match interviews earlier in the season.
probably because he is expecting a bit more return on his work that has gone in.

I echo your comments and despite what I sometimes read on here I believe they are echoed in AG as well. There is a willingness for Pearson and his team to succeed on match days and that is only going to grow as time goes on.
He is a good fit for this football club - a straight shooter.
the best weve had in eons

its not just the football quality is it. am i wrong in thinking hes done a lot behind the scenes sorting out other staff and way things are done? add in whatever happened last month and his health issues, since hes been here a lot of changes have happened, changes he probably couldnt do much about until ashton was gone.
point im trying to make is as numero uno points out,the players are playing now to the best of their ability, also a lot of other work has been done which we dont see. hq couldnt have done that without help or guidance, where did that come from if it wasnt nigel pearson?

The people at the top are no closer to knowing what they are doing now than they were 20 years ago when it comes to football matters. That’s why in my opinion we have to suck it up and let Nige do what needs to be done over the next couple of seasons.
through all the debates / discussions etc over the last year or so,this best sums up where we are and what needs doing NOW before we fail monumentally

Just awaiting the results from the DNA test to make sure he fits in.
it will no doubt come back negative, ashton probably sent it to the local covid test centre because it wouldnt eat up any of his savings bonus pot

I had a similar occasion. Sat next to him in the coffee shop. Like you say, it was all about him. And for some odd reason he was putting on a cockney accent. Absolutely full of shit.
perhaps he thinks hes arfur daley sometimes

Cheers and no worries - but we still do jump on any untruths the Sags put out - bit of a shame to do that and just peddle as many lies ourselves?
just think of this thread as a gas version of spitting image. mostly fastasy rubbish which some people find funny and those that dont like it tend to not bother reading it. as you rightly say,its a lot of guff, personally,i enjoy it but thats my sense of humour

although it seemed obvious he did it,the other bloke couldnt say it was him which cant have helped much. dont the old bill have video evidence of the next one?
if he gets away with both, he will need a new name.

we are past my halfway target with a couple of games spare and the added bonus of peterborough and barnsley looking more and more unlikely to get to 40 points let alone 50. all good in my books,. cant see second set of 23 games being any easier tho, some of the teams weve beat are either flying now or will be scrapping for their lives, having said that, i think we can and should nick more points off midtable teams

Is Vyner a poor player? No.
Is it a position we need to upgrade? Yes.
His ability to play 3 different position, CB, RB and RM - maybe not to the first team, week in week out standard - is a very useful player to have in the squad.
Dare say if money wasn't such a challenge then it would be an area when a Championship ready player would have been sought out, but the fact is, we have Tanner who, when fit, will likely start - and he hadn't played at this level before.
Zak is one to keep for me.
my thoughts exactly, very useful player to have being able to slot in anywhere if needed. Zac probably knows he got a future here so long as he puts in a shift when required. first time i saw him was a rb against brighton, improved loads since then

let the 6 week search process begin, then appoint from within. all saving any withdrawals from ashtons bonus pot

Very frustrating for Williams bet he’s pissed right off. We need to bring in cover for him once the window is open. Helping him back to full fitness next season.
be nice if we could get him and another of the same playing in a match at the same time

I've thought for a while now that they will stay up. Bit of a gamble though as any fire sale in January will end their slim hopes.
wouldnt surprise me if rooneys got a few mates lined up prepared to play for peanuts on paper should that happen

i dont know why kp is out of it so wont guess but if he does have to go,surely it would benefit him and the club to have him match fit,who wants a player that will take weeks to get up to speed. maybe a few u23 games if it is an attitude problem,
