We're turning the BOGOF offer into a GOFGOF offer.
we need our new man to sell them to LJ as just what he needs to get them over the line.

developer could be in for a treat, lay a pitch, whack a few tents up,rent to that lot, sell houses at the mem then increase the rent to default level and boot them out there to build more houses to sell

part of joeys speech on covid and his squad....
''"We're human beings, it's spread among the human population. Just because we have shin pads on and a footy kit, the virus isn't going to leave us out because we've got fixtures to play on a Saturday," Barton added.
"It's just the world we're living in at this moment in time. Our lads have been superb on the vaccination front.
"We've had a player who's double vaccinated because of a pre-existing condition, I think he's even had the booster, and he's gone down with a positive test and that then takes out the two players he's in close contact with in his household.''spot the bit where hes blatantly lied again.
i didnt realise players house shared either.

Not an issue as it was so early doors nobody had ever heard of Covid when she (and he,) contracted it. She's very vocal as she's one of the first identified cases of long Covid and it's ****ed her life beyond that of losing a partner. (She's also lost her health, career and pretty much everything.)
rightly so with it being unknown then. hopefully you understood what i meant about people being fully aware now
-
hate to think how his partner feels knowing he contracted it from her, hopefully nowhere near as bad as anyone now who passes it on to a loved one from going somewhere which could have been avoided fully aware of possible consequences

I am adamant that this is what is happening
careful Bert,he could sue you for defamation of character posting a pic of him in a gas thread

as someone else suggested , it would now make sense to postpone games until the new year, coaches, trains, concourses, colder weather with less ventilation, all adds up to a big risk towards spoiling your turkey dinner with the family and the subsequent visits

No idea how many are Ashton signings if any. But several linked to us in the past since Ashton was here, plus Wes Burns (he tried to get Morrell too):
Walton
Evans
Harper
Edwards
Burgess
Morsy
Edmundson
Suggesting he took the “database” and his West Brom links with him…and had an influence!!!
Some are linked to Cook too, so not disputing he might’ve wanted some too.

I/we probably sent a load of green and yellow vans your way in the early 00's (if you were there at that time).....
when i was there, probably 97-98, we mainly did interlink, dhl and data express, they were a mare as i was expected to be down avonmouth at quarter past sparrow fart and have these gigantor vw vans serviced and back on the road by 8.30am. hated the job but the money was good, got fed up of commute time to come home to nailsea. (30 mins via temple meads on train,) 90mins in the car most nights, probably worse now

so its unanimous,. the new stadium has to be in that area somewhere to keep in line with theirs and bristol heritage, once a smelly place, always a smelly place..

He used to occasionally smuggle me into work with him when I was a kid and I can clearly remember the stink from that place, even now. It was unbelievable and I’ve never smelt anything like it since thankfully.
You’d never get away with something like that these day, as there were still a lot of houses around there, unlike today.
bridgewater had a bad one with a cellofane factory i think. i had an uncle that worked there,,he lived in queens rd behind malvern rd

Shame the glue factory isn't still open on the Netham, in the 80's the pong from that was ******* staggering.
that must be what my dad called the boneyard, was it made from old animal bones?
-
when my parents split,my dad went back home to his parents in malvern rd at the bottom of troopers hill.used to wonder what that acrid smell was, imagined it was dead corpse gas from those vents on beaufort rd next to the cemetary

The Fruitcake Stadium is just another ploy to keep the blue few happy for a while longer. Artists impression on the front page of the Post coming soon! Previous stadium developements which have integrated appartments built around have been done for a reason, think Highbury which was listed and was developed around what was the pitch, or Brisbane Road which needed the residential build to fund the stadium.
In this situation there is absolutely no need for the developent to include a stadium, in fact it would vastly reduce the housing. So the developers are dangling the carrot of a new stadium in the hope of getting thier hands on some more prime land at the Memorial Ground by offering Rovers a long term lease (20 years, 50 years, who knows?) If they fall for it they could end up with another Eastville situation.
Also, for any of you that don't know the area around Albert Road, it's a dump! Surrounded by recycling depots, railway sidings and other industry, not a pub or shop for miles, and very little in the way of public transport.
Roverz fans should be praying that this idea gets kicked into touch and they get some kind of rebuild where they are.
i once worked at mototech by the dogs home, i think the site is ideal for them, low tide, warm day,it feckin stinks

back in the 80s during the falklands war, a friend of mine received a spoof home office headed letter advising him that hed been called up for national service and was to be sent to the falklands with the sas. he was to be part of a group landing ashore disguised as penguins and was told to change his diet to fish
