We need to scrap and fight for every point now. We just have to get over the line however we do it. Nigel must have a wry smile.

Dear Nigel
I made the mistake of thinking I knew something about football. I replaced an experienced and successful manager with a guy that had never managed above League One and had led MK Dons to the bottom 4. I then told the fans to expect the top six.
Two of the worse three teams in the division have just comfortably beaten us and our league record is worse under him than you, despite the fact that you could barely name a team due to injuries.
Please come back and save the season
Love
Jon
P.S thanks for getting us the points early doors which mean we are not in a relegation battle now.
Dear Nigel
Sorry to write again so soon, just wanted to update my letter -
Three of the worse teams in the division have now beaten us, the manager is throwing players under the bus and the players are fighting among themselves....please, please come back.
Love
Jon

I was a huge fan of Nigel Pearson and was gutted/furious when he left. I've also been very unimpressed with Manning thus far (FA Cup matches aside). However, I think Cardiff City are the idea opponents for us at the moment. A derby game, in front of a big crowd, I'm going to stick my neck out and predict a 3-0 City victory. I've not felt optimistic going into any game under Manning, so I don't know where this feeling comes from...but I like it. COYR

Wednesday were extremely poor today, but beat us with 10 men...worrying.

No..which is strange as most of the PL u21's would be stronger than most of the league 1 & 2 teams you would think...not sure if they play beyond the group stages for some reason.
They do, but physically they cannot compete. They get bullied by bigger stronger teams. Never mind the final, they don't even make the semi finals. Something similar in Scotland, and even Rangers and Celtic U-21s with all their resources don't get to the semi or final when competing with largely part time lower division Scottish teams that have too much physicality.

Thank goodness two teams from the same geographical area couldn't play in the final when we used to be a lower level team. Imagine getting to Wembley and having to play the Gas. We'd only be allocated 10,000 tickets as they have a track record of taking 70,000+ to Wembley for finals.

Some absolute heroes in that list above!
Ashley Williams did very well for us and looked a class act. the others, um, not quite so well.

I would be interested, thank you

Not sure he hasn’t got a pad north of the border - heard him say how much they love Scotland and spend time there , and he’s been close to getting jobs (Including Rangers IIRC ) in the past
He has a house near Greenock, and has attended Greenock Morton matches in the Championship before now. However, I am guessing that the drive from Greenock (close to Glasgow) to Aberdeen is 3 hours. I'm sure it is a short flight from Glasgow airport to Aberdeen.

Open an account with Bet 365, put a large bet on City and not only do you get to watch the game, you make a large amount of money also, simple.

Sad news, anyone have any idea who it was?

Bring Nigel back as manager for the League games, where he outperformed Manning, and have Manning as a 'Cup Boss' as we've performed well in the Cup.

Aberdeen fans genuinely excited about his appointment. His first game....the small matter of Rangers at Ibrox on Tuesday night. I wouldn't put it past him getting the Dons a top 4 finish and winning the Scottish Cup. If he achieved that he'd have the job longer term if he wanted it.

We sign all of Derby’s best players and Bournemouth sign all of our best players.
Not a sentence you’d have expected to be saying 15 years ago when the former was in the Premier League and the latter near the bottom of League Two!
And the Gas sign all our former players just before they receive their 100th Birthday card from King Charles!

Great news, the support has been amazing this season and seems to continue to grow. Also the support away from home has been really good. COYR

Trying to be positive and imaging we get the points needed to preserve our Championship status, kicking off 24-25 who would you like as Manager? Which players should leave? Who should stay? Where should we strengthen? For me -
Manager - ideally Nigel Pearson, knowing that won't happen I'd like an established 'manager' someone who knows the division and has had success in the Championship.
Leaving - Cornick (plenty of effort but not quite good enough), Wells (seen better days), King (happy to keep him as a coach), Weimann (seen better days), Naismith (seen better days, injury prone), Mehmeti (League one standard player),
Staying - all the rest, some talented players Vyner, O Leary, Dickie, Conway, Sykes, Pring and Knight are all stand outs
New Signings - 2 forwards minimum. We also need a creative midfield player and another versatile defender.
