  1. Not much, with one more match to distract us from the league, injuries and another defensive error + goal conceded.

I'd say Semenyo finding the net again: his lack of form and goals have been a problem recently, because he is one of our best weapons. Not sure if he will stay, but even in case of a sell, more goals would mean more money.

Genuinely starting to wonder if all PGMOL-affiliated officials have a longstanding bet going on and whoever finally caves in and gives us a penalty has to pay every other referees' mortgages and/or rent for a year...

Waiting for the betting value of "penalty given to Bristol City" to further increase: when it will guarantee a great amount of money, one of them will give us a penalty - probably an invented one, like a a handball after a corner - and the referees involved will pay - and gain - a lot of money (obviously asking a close person to bet for them). Risky, but if cheating players can do it...why not?

It's the more realistic explanation. If there is another one, surely it's not "oh well, they are poor" or "ah we are so unlucky" anymore.

There's a march next week if you're interested!

I read about it but the reasons behind the march are not clear: a collective complaint to EFL/Refs Association should be the main point though.

Anyway, with hundreds of supporters living in Bristol, I don't think that an Italian supporter flying to Bristol would be required. ? If we talk about social medias, I'm ready to give a strong contribution, if something is organized...

Replay + injuries, eh?!? Not the best scenario.

We’re never getting a pen again

No reactions, no changes. If the club  accepts it passively and silently, like the supporters at the stadium, referees will continue. I can't understand why nobody seem to care about a clear injustice done to our club... ?

It shoul be a priority, more important than blaming - rightly - Pearson and the players...

  5. Glad to begin the year avoiding a defeat, but these draws are not enough to make me feel confident about our survival: we need to pick some wins somewhere,  mainly by converting our chances in goals like we have been doing in recent past.

It won't be easy, because we know our weaknesses and it is - or should be - clear that we will have also to be stronger than referees dirty behaviour, but...COME ON CITY, we can do it!!!

One or two arrivals from the transfer market would obviously help too.

  6. After results like today's one my doubts about Nigel come back.

I'v always backed him because of our financial problems & transfer restrictions, bad luck with injuries (especially in defence) , referees disrespecting us, our attacking progress...but I don't understand some of his choices and team rules. Why leaving Atkinson out if we have so many defenders unavailable? King at CB for emergency is OK, for tactical choice it seems odd. An out-of-form Weimann doing RWB? Massengo not considered even when the transfer window was far?

Maybe his football plan is going slower than he expected? I wouldn't want him to go, but maybe we need a  new face, someone who can bring a new spark and new ideas into the team?  Honestly I don't know...

  7. He's been playing poorly for a while: I don't know if his recovery from injury and the world cup distraction are playing a part in it, but his value is probably decreasing...and it's bad news for us.

At the moment, if I were a PL club I wouldn' spend more than 7-8 millions.

And school boy defending coupled with p*** poor distribution ( I counted 6 misplaced shortish passes and happened to look at my watch, 6 minutes played) doesn't have an impact?

Obvously yes (a different matter = it has an impact too), but from some supporters comments/reactions it seems that refereeing is not part of a football match and doesn't count. It counts, especially if it remains unbalanced for a long period of time (more than 2 seasons), becoming even suspect.

Honestly ignoring this fact means being uninterested/superficial about something that is damaging the team and the club. It shouldn' be necessary to explain it...

Our team's inconsistency worries me, but thinking that Rotherham, Hull and co. will win/draw some matches thanks to penalties etc. whereas we won't have that possibility worry me too.
