Entertaining first half. We had a good spell and seemed to be the more likely to score, but then they upped their game and had at least two huge chances: we were lucky to avoid being 1 down, then a moment of magic from Atkinson, Wells and Conway gave us the lead,  Andi hit the post and we regained confidence and cohesion.

In the second half I'd make a change in midfield, because of Massengo's yellow.

Ref right to disallow their goal too.

Given what happened last season, he had all the rights to express his frustration about referees and the system around them. Maybe it won't have any positive effects but...well done, Nigel!

First league win, in difficult conditions: good job, Robins! 

Hopefully we'll build on this performance. Glad to see Conway progress, especially with the risk of losing Antoine.

That being said, we have had referees against us in 3 games out of 4: I hope that things will change, or our percentage of stress will probably be much higher than the number of wins...

Bastard referee ruining our games again. And some supporters call this trend "excuses"...

Well, a point is better than nothing. With a normal refereeing we could have won it: that being said, we have also to work on some aspects of our game, like consistency in the second half of matches.

Predictable. At 2-0 or 11 vs 10, maybe...

Hard to play against 14 men so often... 

I've seen it happen many times to Inter Milan (proven dirty things), but I didn't expect to see something similar  (at least for number of episodes) against City...

I add the doubts about Williams and King's availability, which could leave us even weaker in midfield. Vyner DM probably can't be the long-term answer, but when Kalas will come back I'd try Zak there again.

Already two losses: the first one was undeseved, but today we struggled too much to get something.

Disappointing. I need an ice cream.
