Great player and a good servant for City. However, health is more important than football, so I think he made the right choice.
Good luck, Nathan!

FT
Shame to lose two points in that familiar way, but I would have taken a draw before the match, and even more during it, given the problems they gave to our defence.
Our main weakness remains clear, but I was quite impressed by the team's mental strenght, shown by making two comebacks .

I don’t understand people. I want to see us progress as far as possible in this competition. Give me a lower division club at home any day of the week. Cracking draw!
It's simple:
1) league is more important;
2) the chance of reaching the final remain slim in any case, so it would be more interesting to challenge some big PL teams until you're still in the cup than playing more rounds but against Championship/lower leagues teams. Getting this chance only once/every few years, just to live new dreamy nights like those of the 2017/18 season.
It's a little annoying to see other EFL teams playing against the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and co. in early stages, while we had to do extraordinary things to "gain the right" of playing against the Manchester clubs, a season that was obviously difficult to repeat.
If we had been more lucky in our best seasons - the playoff one & the cup run one - and reach the PL, glamour cup matches would be less captivating...

FFS, do we EVER get a decent draw?
In the early stages, probably we will never do it.
Derby gets Liverpool, Newport gets Leicester, Blackburn gets EL finalist West Ham and Bristol City geeets...Lincoln City!
At least it's at home...

Good to be still in the cup and even better to see reserves and youngsters do the job
And our next uninspiring draw will beeeee...

Surprised to see Kadji start. COYR!
EDIT: start and...score!

Wilson can play LWB so possibly Tanner at RWB and Pring as a centre back meaning Naismith can have a rest ?
It's an option, but changing Naismith too would mean replacing two defenders out of three + the goalkeeper: maybe too much, considering that Wycombe play at home and should be quite good despite being one level below?

Benarous...Scott...Reid°...Bryan°

Xs could be filled by Idehen/Towler and Edwards/Bell if they will progress well.
Not bad, eh?
Not to forget some potential reserves who were sold in recent seasons (Wollacott, Morrell, Nurse, maybe others?) and Academy players who seem to be highly regarded by Tinnion & co., like Kadji, Francois and Palmer-Houlden.
Obviously there were many youngsters who didn't succeed, at least at medium or high levels, for many reasons (overrated skills, pression, injuries, etc.), but it is happens to most teams...

Refereeing: I thought that was good in key decisions, but unbalanced about fouls/cards. Anyway, much better than usual.

One of Massengo's best performances too.

Consistency in both halves was the main positive.
Talking about single players, my podium today is Conway > Bentley > Atkinson.

A great day for us, a joyful bithday fir Nigel and Alex.
Really open match that could have gone both ways: we were more clinical and overall solid in defending the result. Brilliant win!
-
Overall our attacking play was really good. Apart two/three blackouts, we defended well too.
-
No penalty.? Not sure here...
Wilson on.
-
Weimann offside, right call
Agree with the sub.
-
Risky contact from Vyner.Strangely, no penalty against us.
-
They are really trying hard to injure our players, eh? Conway the main target.

Two great headers. Come on, City!
