Feel sorry for Warburton. They've had a decent end to the season and I think he deserved butter....

Have you managed to find one? If so, could you share the link in here please?

Yeah, this was definitely either a failure of testing, or, more likely, it failed at the requirements gathering stage. No-one at the club can be faulted for not phoning you as they probably weren't aware of it. A project manager on the building of this system needs to be read the riot act for sure.

Oh for Kalifa Cisse to roll back the years....

They'll fit in well with the players of late too then! -
Is that the same Dean Holden that was sacked after 6 months in the job....?

I wonder if the group sponsorship has factored into this thinking. "If you sponsor the football club for £X we'll chuck your name on the rugby, basketball and womens shirts for a nominal fee." sort of scenario, rather than the sponsorship money being spread across all clubs under the BS banner. -
The thing you're looking at with all three though is that we're not necessarily selling the player but rather selling the potential. All of these players have the potential to reach the very top with the right coaching and in the right environment. The clubs that would be looking at them know that there is a high chance of a large profit on each of them. Two other things to consider is that 1) We don't need to sell, so silly low prices won't get them and 2) we turned down a rumoured £12(?)m bid for AS on deadline day didn't we? I may have got the figure wrong, but it was reported that it fell short of out valuation nearer £20m. In other words, pay what we want or bog off!
-
There is absolutely no chance in hell that we would accept an average of £5m for each of those players. With our selling record over the last few years that simply sounds ludicrous. Unless you meant £15m each for them, in which case yes, we may accept with hefty sell-ons added.

Could this be our new kit for next season?

No, not tired. He/She/They/Toaster is upset that he/she/they/toaster was assumed to have a partner with a specific, or indeed any, binary gender. He/She/They/Toaster was certainly offended by such an accusation. Either that or he/she/they/toaster was bemused that someone would think that he/she/they/toaster was actually able to attract a partner of any binary or non-binary classification at all with such a stroppy(*) attitude. * other attitudes are available. I wouldn't like his/her/their/toasters attitude to feel like it's being pidgeon(**)-holed. ** other birds are available...... -
Not a fan to be honest. I found this tidbit interesting though....or erroneous...not sure which. The Premier League was the only major competition to ditch the rule because some clubs felt it gave those with bigger squads an unfair advantage. This suggests that we are still allowed 5 in our league, but that's not right is it? Or is the BBC now forgetting that the Premier League isn't the only one in the UK? It's also unclear if the extra two subs are instead of or in addition to a concussion sub (therefore allowing more than 5)

It'll be interesting to see how it's sorted out if we get drawn in a group with Japan then!

Weirdly, the Championship restarts at the end of the group stage, as you say....there will presumably be lots of postponements with teams still missing players on duty. -
How so? The draw is being done further away from the tournament than before....

Apparently they will be downsized with the bits removed being sent to impoverished third world regions to build new stadiums and cultivate a passion for the sport. I understand Wally Al Qaeda has already put an application in for the prowed fewers.....

I know it's not........but why does it look like he's had a cock tattooed on his neck?!? Maybe he asked for a Neil Kilkenny tat?

Shaun Goater has a fish named after him
Steve Watts replied to Never to the dark side's topic in Football Chat
Yeah, but we couldn't find a plaice for him in the squad. Sorry - that was cod awful. -
He was using his body to shield the ball. There's absolutely no foul or offside in that build up at all. If you give a free kick for that you'd be giving about 100 every game. Nothing wrong with the goal whatsoever and not one City player appealed for anything. But like I say - It was Colin and Tango, so **** em!
-
Let's be honest, the free kick was the officials cop out because they actually didn't have a clue what was going on. There was no foul in the build up. They scored a fair goal and I agree that if the boot was on the other foot we would be moaning and bitching about it for ages and rightfully so..... .....However..... Warnock and Jordan were on the receiving end of the decision which makes this the exception to the rule and the correct outcome on the day!!!!
