What are the chances of bumping into Marcus Stewart on your hols?

Bumped into Marcus Stewart in the Angel Inn, Long Ashton a few weeks ago.

It was the day before a R****s home match and he had been out mountain biking in Ashton Court with his gurt 'ted mate. He is still one of us really :clapping:

If there are any of the blue few on here who will be celebrating their 16th birthday tomorrow, let me be the first to wish you a happy birthday, and to remind you that anyone of your age or younger has never,  EVER, seen your rag-bag Rovers team above City in your entire lives ! :chant6ez: COYR

I've just had a load of the cave dwellers trying to take the piss on FB that we didn't sell out on Saturday due to the 'guest' tickets. When I mentioned 21,500 and the fact that they didn't sell out their little dump when they had FREE tickets for their last game, they resorted to 'six fingers, can't read or write, uneducated etc etc'.

They just don't understand their 8,000 when free against our 21,500 when not free is NOT a reason to attempt a mickey take.

    Thick buggers!

Just as a matter of interest, when was the last time the blue few had 21,500 for a home league match?

Some of you might be interested in picking it a part

“If you compare the football industry curve from the early 90s until now with other industries, football is the only one that’s going upwards,” he said. REALLY ?

Now that Bristol Rovers have reached League One, this figure jumps to $2.5 million.  They get paid in Dollars?

“It’s not about spending cash to buy Ronaldo or Messi. " No shit !

After months of intensive negotiations, al-Qadi eventually beat around 10 other bidders to secure ownership of the club  The other 9 bought raffle tickets !

Due to a non-disclosure agreement, he can’t reveal the figures involved, but he insisted his family got a good deal. “You would be amazed at how much value we got,” he said. They got it for a quid ! (sorry, one dinar)

But his critics are also likely missing the important wider benefit of having a Jordanian with a significant foothold in what’s probably the richest and most watched football league in the world.  Yeah, League One !!

Exactly :clap:well said that man (or possibly woman, I don't know!)

Much like those sniggering at our lowest competitive fixture attendance last night the issue at stake is much bigger than a point scoring exercise.

What Swindon are doing is shameful. And I'm proud that such a low turnout happened last night at our, and other EFL Trophy, games as the implications of letting this slip through unchallenged are just too great for our beautiful game.

I actually agree with the Dancing one here, what the EFL have done to the Johnstone's Paint Trophy is shameful, imagine a final between Reading U 23's and Swansea's reserve team :grr:

And in response to the £25 ticket for the Swindle re-match, I think the gas board should go one step further and refuse to take any ticket allocation at all.

So who would you rather win tonight?

    You lot obviously.

I know there are some great rivalries such as Cardiff/Swansea, Norwich/Ipswich, Derby/Notts Forest, Saints/Pompey, but these are nothing like having two teams in the same city. You get to hear there deluded bull**** and see their clowns shirts every day.
