This does NOT represent the view of the majority of Rovers Fans .. You love to change things around to make it look like something else just like the media

How does it feel to wake up this morning and be the THIRD biggest sporting club in Bristol BY A MILE?

40,000 supporters will be heading through the AG turnstiles on some weekends next season - just think they all coulda been yours  :laughcont:

On Bristol Rovers, a new director said "one almost without parallel in terms of local support"

    What?

Cheeky bugger. I wouldn't say R*vers are almost without parallel in terms of local support...I would say they are without parallel in terms of local support.

Sag season ticket sales: approx 4,000

City season ticket sales: approx 14,000

    See.

    We're so far apart.

  3. Crolla fast becoming the next Hatton. Both really nice guys, great boxers and have captured the Manchester  and wider public's imagination. So much respect for Crolla, that bloke was a dangerous opponent - you could tell he could box and hit hard.

Devastating ko for Khan but always a danger of it happening. Gotta wonder how much he's got left in the tank now. He simply has to take the Brook fight, which would be a sell-out at Wembley.

As for those who long for the return of the Bristol Derby, what sort of ambition is that? We want to challenge ourselves against teams like Boro, Burnley, Derby, etc, not Bristol's equivalent of Gillingham or Leyton Orient.

Absolutely. In short, they need us a lot more than we need them.

I can't wait until they turn on 'Darrell' when things start to go badly, and end up hounding him out the club like they did with 'Trolls' and 'Ollie'.

  5. Chisora v Pulev and Khan v Alvarez this weekend.

Chisora up to his usual antics at the presser yesterday dragging Pulev's head down whilst in the stare out. He's got his work cut-out on the night and whilst capable of a surprise will probably lose.

Alvarez heavy favourite to beat Khan. I like what I've been hearing from Khan though, accepting he doesn't have the power to trouble Alvarez and saying he'll use his speed and movement to win the fight. If he gets dragged into a fight with Alvarez; he's getting knocked out. If he boxes on the outside and retains his speed from being a light-welter then I believe he can win and will be having a little bet on him at 5/1 to win on points.

boxers are there to take punches.  Second one was average.  He didn't want to know.

They're not and Martin has to think about his health, family and career.

Quite simply he found out he was out of his depth pretty quickly.

He tasted the power and after that he didn't want to know, and who can blame him? He gets up the second time, he's only going straight down again - why risk potential permanent damage?

Quigg left it well to late, there is having a game plan and then there is that, shocking

Yeah not quite sure what Joe Gallagher's game plan was, but whatever it was it failed miserably.

I thought both fighters looked petrified when they touched gloves at the start of the fight and relieved when it was all over. One of those fights where the stakes were so high the pressure got to both of them.

The first two rounds were terrible but after that I thought Frampton took control of the fight and he left no-one in doubt as to who the superior boxer was.

Shocking yet again to see such a bizarre scorecard from a judge - Quigg by 2 rounds, really??

Frampton v Santa Cruz next assuming he defeats Martinez.
