Have it on good authority that Rich Luffman aka Luffers will be the next Taunton T manager.
Happy with that. Did a great job at Cribbs, and brings players and money with him.

Sounds like their takeover of Everton is in doubt.
Lots of missed payments and suggestions they don't have the money to complete the takeover.
I wonder....

Steve Lansdown must be projectile vomiting uncontrollably right now
One of those moments this evening where he needs to look in the mirror and ask "maybe it's me?"

I watch them and yes they do score some great goals but they seem to have a lot of luck going for them, everything seems to be going for them, for instance, I thought they were lucky the night they played us at home. I think they are a workmanlike team that plays well for each other.
McKenna has won 74 of his 130 games in charge at Ipswich, losing only 20.
I know he's Irish, but i think there's a lot more to it than luck.

Didn’t Steve go on national radio following LJs dismissal and was somewhat gloating the Bristol City job was attracting interest from all over the world.
A strange action to follow if your finances are stretched.
Our finances were clearly stretched. Steve also talks a lot of bolllox, sadly.

Is it just me or are Ipswich not really that good?
For what they're working with, they are absolutely sublime. Great football and some of the goals they score are majestic.
That squad at another club and under a different manager you could see finishing about 14th.
McKenna has worked wonders.

Holden was an act of self harm. Just why? I’d love to one day get an honest assessment of how they made that choice.
"They" = Steve.
I think tbf finances had a lot to do with it.
Cheap option whilst the club came to terms with post-covid finances, and of course the excessive spending that had gone on in years previous.

For you to suggest how a good run of form is "killing you" gives a hige insight into your own mindset.
You do realise it's possible to be happy with good form but be unhappy with the overall picture right?
You can't let your dislike of Nigel go can you? You must still have nightmares about him. Did he take away your sweets, Kid?
Really like Nige, but it's funny how the narrative is very different from some posters (such as yourself) on Manning and Nige.
If Manning and the players have spoke, and that has led to a positive tactical tweak and change in mindset, then great. As others have pointed out, that is a good leadership trait to have. Yet according to some this is evidence he's abandoned his principles

Come on then Kid, stop acting like your name and you tell us why there was a sudden change.
We're all waiting.
This recent run of good form is killing you, isn't it?
Lest we forget our dramatic upturn in form last season came about after Nige stumbled upon a formation change at half time to Swansea in a cup game.
Football isn't quite as simple as you make out, bird-brain...

Yet here at Ashton Gate we have players having to tell the head coach "boss this is the Championship"
Yes, I'm sure that's exactly what happened, bird-brain.

I made it very clear at the start of the season I expected progression. That expectation remained for both managers and it has not been met.
How are you judging progression?
Points?
League position?

I don't think it's been mentioned but Placa Reial, just off la Rambla (nearest metro: Liceu) is a great picturesque little square with restaurants/cafes/bars aplenty, lovely tall palm trees & great for a spot of people watching whilst sipping a cold cerveza.
Not so nice when I went there, got beaten up just outside Mollys Fair City Irish bar

Not quite as we still have to play Quins last at the Stoop. It's going to be tight.
If we beat Sarries, and Quins lose at Exeter, then we should be good to finish above them.

The permutations are a nightmare, but I'm saying a Bears win over Sarries next weekend, and Exeter do us a favour by beating Quins, and we're all but there?

We are mundane and beige, we are often regarded as one of England's most boring teams as we rarely get involved at either end of the table and we never play Rovers...

Half that description of us is about Rovers ffs. Hardly our fault they're absolute garbage, is it?
Ironically, you could say exactly the same about Stoke and Port Vale too.

No. Put down the graphs and spreadsheets and enjoy this lovely April evening.

Yes they have. Five successive home losses to what must be the most mundane, beige club in the entire division.
Nice to hear they hold us in such high regard

Went to Sonny Stores last night, was really looking forward to it but unfortunately it was a total disaster, took 20 minutes to take drink order so decided to order food at same time, had to chase the one starter and bread that we’d ordered, it finally turned up after we had been in there for 1 hour, by this time several tables had been vacated by disgruntled diners.
We felt very sorry for the wait staff as the problem seemed to be in the kitchen, we asked if the main courses were going to be the same sort of wait time and should we “cut our losses” and just leave, we were advised that it might be best to leave.
The place was packed and when we left there was a big queue of people waiting for tables that were not free because of the backlog.
Can only assume the increase in capacity was a bit much for them.
Is this the Quakers Friar venue?
