I don't want to hear from him, but we should. He's still the club owner and ultimate decision-maker.

That tackle at Carlisle away.
If you know, you know.

Yeah could be.
That’ll be hilarious, if Liverpool want him but he goes to Madrid. Those humble scousers won’t understand, as they think they are the only attractionIn fairness I think our perception is skewed by the British media too. Liverpool are obviously a massive club but Real are bigger, and for a Spainard who played for them, it's obviously the dream job.
If they get Mbappe this summer too then that team is starting to look pretty tasty!

Oddly enough my lad made the same comparison Kid. If it turns out to be as good I’ll be delighted

Who wants to follow Klopp though? It’s the poison chalice that was following Wenger and Ferguson.
I think Alonso is being very clever avoiding it this time around and they’ll be clamouring for him in 2 years time once the Klopp successor fails.
I think it's as simple as Alonso is waiting for his Real dream job - Madrid next summer.

Chatting with my lad midweek he and his partner when to the Nutmeg an Indian restaurant in Clifton Village. He said it was excellent with a great variety of set menu’s to select from.
We’re thinking of going there ourselves - has anyone else been there?
Very similar in terms of quality to Rassasy in Hotwells which I recall you enjoyed.

Decent away win for Taunton at Farnborough today, given themselves half a chance of staying up now. Looking a bit nervy for Torquay though sadly - if they go down it`s curtains for the club I fear.
Taunton v Torquay on Tues, which I'm going to, suddenly looks absolutely massive.

But she's never played men's professional football so she can't be any good at her job. It's impossible.
This is just the woke Marxist commie Trotsky Gary Lineker led anti-Brexit BBC infiltrating mid-table Championship football.
And I for one am FUMING.

How does the rugby have anything to do with Jon?
He was largely responsible for the complete rebrand of the club, wasn't he?

Struggling to believe that Huddersfield has 3,000 listed buildings and the third most of any town/city in England.

Good to see you at Sprints this eve @internetjef at Thekla.
Great gig and we won't get to see them in such a small venue again!

No communication problems on my end. I said it was in our own hands. I was told it wasn't. It's been proven it was.
I'm fully entitled to my opinion and no amount of face palms by people doubling down will change my opinion.
Maybe the issue is people not being able to respect that others have differing opinions.
You really are a complete moron, aren't you?

Quite a bit of arse-covering in this thread from some posters
Turns out maybe Manning isn't a competition winner afterall.

Var surely looking at that
Not a pen Saka looked for it.
Pen all day long. Neuer literally moves his leg towards Saka, with no intention or possibility of playing the ball, and fouls him.
VAR once again proving how pointless it is.

Not the biggest fan of Lounges, but think this is a real positive for the harbourside, decent food, somewhere actually dog friendly for a huge dog walking area, and will be a brilliant view for a breakfast/lunch/evening bite at the very least.
I'm a fan, I think they're great.
Speaking to a mate that works for them and they'll have nearly 300 sites by the end of the year. They've opened 36 venues this financial year alone.

I did think it was odd how Bayern were being written off. They have too many good players.
Four good ones up top, other than that they're having a poor season by their standards and have a coach who is disliked leaving at the end of the season.
Good opportunity for Arsenal but their defence has been uncharacteristically terrible so far.

I think calling Barton a bully is probably an understatement.
In reality he displays all the behaviours of an abuser.
That means everyone around him that he doesn't perceive as bigger and stronger than he is, is a victim of his behaviour. Sadly, that means his family and friends, particularly women and specifically female partners, and almost certainly his children, unfortunately.
Unless he gets the help he clearly needs then he'll continue on a path of self-destruction, and destruction and misery for those around him.

I'm sure some years back the club published a map of the South West with red dots to signify where our Season ticket holders were from.
Haven't seen this for some time though.
They did and I recall there was a huge number on the north fringe, particularly Bradley Stoke.

Anyways, to keep this on topic -
Train is a none- starter tomorrow as the trains back are woeful. So it looks like a drive all the way to Bris for the P&R. Or would it make more sense to drive to Portway? Could be worse, in at least they’re viable on Saturdays.
Or, drive to Long Ashton and park up outside The Angel. Get phone out, start searching on RightMove for a new property. Buy house in LA. Forget this nightmare ever happened.

There’s a reason that more houses are being built here.
A big reason is that north of Yate isn't Green Belt tbh. Same reason Charfield and Thornbury (north and east) have been lumped with a load of new houses over the past 10 years.
South Glos is running out of land in sustainable locations to build housing outside the Green Belt though (Charfield for example has reached capacity due to J14 of the M5 being inadequate), hence the new Local Plan is proposing a lot of housing in the Green Belt.

Looking for a restaurant for my fiancées Birthday and am thinking that seafood is the way to go.
Noah's and Spiny Lobster seem to be the two big hitters from this thread. Anyone have any strong thoughts on which one to go for or if there's another option I've missed?
I'd say you can't go wrong with either. Both nice venues for a special occasion too.

Wurzels at AG for Rotherham Game
in Football Chat
Posted
You are actually wrong there. The Wurzels still continue to have a decent following amongst younger people, including students.
I was at the gig they played after the Bears v Glos game last season and it was absolutely packed.
Anyone that wants to get a decent position I'd advise leaving the game at least 5-10 mins early.
