Also, not sure if mentioned but Portishead got promoted to the Western League Prem yesterday.

Their striker Ethan Feltham has scored over 50 goals this season.

Saw them at AEK Boco back in September and they looked a very decent side, clearly too good for that level.

I’ll die in a ditch that Birmingham wasn’t a bad performance, despite what some say.  But I’ll live with that difference of opinion.

    But Stoke?

That just smacks of being purely basing on results.

Was it 2 home wins in our opening 7 of the Championship season, Dave?

Pleased to hear that Thornbury has survived (my birth place). Do they still play at the Munday playing fields ?

Not surprised to hear Worc brought a load down, they outnumbered Mangos earlier in the year.............they truly must be the Gash of the Hellenic !

Yep still at the Mundys. And now have three stands with a total capacity of 300 seating/standing. FA regs have really lifted the requirements

I can remember the days when Weston getting more than 250 at a game was a big thing

Never thought I would see the day with an average over 1000.

Likewise for Taunton. I know it's padded by away followings, but still.

Might be a more significant loss to the Welsh speaking Argentinians.

(Pretty sure for a while Welsh was the second or third language of Argentina, with I have a feeling was something that occurred in the early 1900s).

I think it's an overblown myth. I think there's about a couple of thousand Welsh speakers left in Patagonia, mostly for tourism purposes.

And in my eyes the greatest ever, but I don’t see how that compares to a footballer who won 50 caps for Wales(every death is sad)

Surely you're making the point? A big loss for Welsh football, but beyond that, not so much?

I'm gob smacked you've never heard of cloud seeding. I thought everyone knew about it. It's been going on since the 40s.

It's been used to control weather in both good and bad ways.

Disrupt the weather of an ' enemy ' country, destroy it's produce, manipulate their export and profit. It's all documented.

In the same way people try to debunk chem trails. You've only got to look up in the skies to see it now. Water vapour vanishes. You get what are dismissed as thin veil clouds fogging the skies like a white mist.

We had blue skies, clouds and planes water vapour trails in the past. We now get that...as well as the Criss cross of trails that don't vanish, just spread into a white dull mist in the sky.

I've been in some countries where I've woken in the morning to be seen a criss cross pattern in the sky...not on any plane routes...white trails that just turn into one big thing white veil in the sky.

    Happened in California a lot.

    You've seen chem trails?

  7. Just back from Taunton v Torquay.

The Gulls secured survival with a 2-1 win in a game where both teams showed their nerves, as it was dreadful as a spectacle.

How those Torquay players are professionals I'll never know. I assume most will be out of contract this summer and won't find new clubs.

A painful night for Taunton. Probably created the better chances but Torquay went ahead with two cracking goals.

Taunton hit the post and then missed a sitter in about the 80th minute. Could well be the difference between staying up and going down.

Simple equation now, beat Weston on Thursday and Hemel on Saturday to stay up.

Ben Acey number 11 for Taunton, on loan from City. Looked alright and has something about him, but difficult to make an assessment in such a poor game of football.

Some line up for 1st June.

    1️⃣ Deontay Wilder-Zhilei Zhang
    2️⃣ Fillip Hrgovic-Daniel Dubois
    3️⃣ Ray Ford-Nick Ball
    4️⃣ Ammo Williams-Hamzah Sheeraz
    5️⃣ Craig Richards-Willy Hutchinson

And that's even before the undisputed main event, Beterbiev v Bivol.

Fury v Usyk 18th May and then this 2 weeks later. Can't wait!

Isn't Josh Taylor v Catterall 2 the week in between too?
