Shame we will be missing Tomlin for the Forest game, and all his own doing.
If that's the price we have to pay for his genius then so be it.
If that audacious first half effort had gone in it would've been worth the ST price on its own.

Thought we deserved the win tonight. We were comfortably the better side first half, sort of carried off where we left off from Saturday in the first 20 mins.
Game tightened up second half and became more scrappy but still didn't think Leeds did enough to earn a draw. They looked a decent ish side but we defended well, lots of good blocks and last ditch tackles.
Tammy had an off day, Tomlin excellent again, Paterson started really well but faded. Hordur made one mistimed tackle that nearly led to a Leeds goal but was otherwise excellent.
Well done City, let's keep the momentum going Saturday.

@Stortz as expected on train bk to Bristol after Fulham - updates much appreciated!

Yeah, he executed his game plan perfectly against Barroso. A lot of credit goes to Joe Gallagher there too.
It's a genuine pick 'em fight. I would lean towards Linares after the grit he showed against Mitchell but Crolla keeps surprising us and gets better every fight.
Can't bloody wait.
I've bet against Crolla a couple of times and learnt my lesson!
He is one tough kid and you could already make a film about his life/career - a fantastic story.
I shall not be betting against him tomorrow! Ooooohhh Anthony Crolla!
Shame I'll probably be on the train back from Fulham when the fights on.

Fair play to Roland-Jones, superb bowling at the death.
I don`t feel quite so cheated as I did earlier to be fair now, they both went for it and some good cricket.
Have to say fair play to Middlesex, eyebrows raised when they declared but they've got that spot on.
-
I don't have much faith in Yorkshire's tail-end unfortunately
-
So, Middlesex require 3 wickets from 6 overs

Would Yorkshire shut up shop if they needed ( say ) 50 of 4 with 2 wickets left?
Or would they still go for it?
Difficult to say. Psychologically they must be shot now, knowing there is little chance of them winning. More likely to implode IMO, but do so swinging the bat
-
83 needed off 54 balls
-
Bres gone. That's useful.
-
This is so painful to watch as you just know they'll be a result! As others have said Yorkshire will just be swinging for sixes by the end.
Like watching a car crash in slow motion.

So, halfway stage 87/3.
20 overs to go, either 7 wickets or 153 runs needed
-
Can't deny it ain't exciting.
Just looked on betfair and they literally can't split all three teams.
-
Wasn't it always the case that one of, or both teams, would try and set this match up for a result today?
We can't be surprised this has happened, even if morally it's a bit dubious.

WTF is going on at Lords... Actually I don't care. Carry on!
Saying on radio Middlesex dont seem to have 'the will' to kick on. Great news

and the fact you've only been a league club since 2015.
That just made me burst into a fit of laughter and I couldn't work out why for a second. Then I realised why.
Because it's true.

Wish we weren't so reliant on our top scorer the past two seasons and so far this season.
Still, at least he's actually ours.
Not sure why you're drawing attention to the fact you own a League One standard striker, whom you rely on a lot, whereas we are custodians of one of the brightest talents in English football who cost us a comparative pittance to have for a season.
We did have a striker that was 'actually ours' up until quite recently you know. His name was Jonathan Kodjia, whom we made around £6 million net profit on in one year, enough money to purchase your entire ramshackle squad many times over...

It was and Wasps only got 13k, which surprised me as I thought they were up around the 17k figure.
Give I a shout if you want a pint early doors for Exeter.
Looks like it might be Saracens game actually, will give you a shout

Our next opponents:
Derby 0 Ipswich 1
Fulham 0 Burton 1
-
I make that 8 goals in 9 appearances for Tammy this season. 5 goals in his last 4 games.
-
Still a bigger crowd than Bath and Exeter got this weekend?
I agree it seems a bit on the low side but clearly there's some big crowds to come over the next few months.
I'll probably try and get to the Exeter game this month.
