  1. He does support Rovers though remember.
  2. Apparently, it's just very old. This word order style is fairly common in early modern English for a marked imperative. A few examples of phrases like "give ye them" in the bible, or "Take you me for a sponge, my Lord?" from Hamlet (loads of these in Shakespeare it seems).
  3. Nope - several others have done the same. Collin Martin for example still currently plays in the MLS and came out in 2018.
  4. He isn't the first - there have been a few. Either way, good on him.
  5. What are you all talking about, we're going to win the league and I won't hear otherwise!!
  6. Atkinson... That's about it.
  7. Is it? I think you have a short memory in the relative history of the club. Being an established championship club is no disgrace.
  8. I just quickly looked up some charges: How Uefa has punished racism in the past decade: the full (and farcical) list of fines and sanctions (inews.co.uk) They vary a lot depending on what happened in each incident, some are pretty similar to this fine. But anyway, I still fail to see the relevance. How can you, I, or any sporting body compare things like racism, and/or major security breaches? Can you say that racism from fans is inherently "worse" than a major security breach like this in what was one of the most high profile matches in football? I can't. They're not the same, not comparable, so the fines must be viewed in isolation. Compare this fine and punishment England have got to other crowd unrest fines and it is quite a hefty one. Your comparison, to me, is apples and oranges.
  9. Probably!? It was definitely the best bit!
  10. Well, our formation didn't have a right sided midfielder, so it's quite hard to say. Realistically, one of the central midfielders should probably come across and help out. James I think was that side. Saying that it could equally be the right sided central defender of the three, which I guess would be Kalas. Either way, they were getting joy on that side and it was difficult for Tanner, but he coped OK.
  11. Was at the game; Defensively, he had a tough game down his side, especially first half. They were doubling up down that side and he wasn't getting a great deal of support. As a result we really struggled to stop crosses coming in. I wouldn't put it down to his own failings though at all. He was in the right positions, tracked his man (or sometimes men!) quite well. He made no errors, I'd say. Going forwards he was certainly less prominent than say, Dasilva second half, but we were under the cosh quite a bit and he was working hard defensively so I don't really think it was the right game for him to show that side of his game. The few crosses I do recall, were over-hit unfortunately. One in the first half he did very well to beat his man, but the cross was poor. More to come from him, perfectly solid, yet unspectacular, start.
  12. I like your content Hampshire reds. Be yourself. Don't let anyone bring you down brother.
  13. Might want to change the title now... Looks like he's banged out a U-ey and is off to Arsenal instead.
  14. Innocent until proven guil... No, no, sorry - forgetting where I am.
  15. Is it just me or does Downsy seem extremely short of breath doing all this half time chat? Very loud sharp breathing doing my head in.
  16. I won't go into massive detail, but you've ignored several things. Population demographic, ability to and quality of testing, population density, reliability of data. There's so many variables. Listen to experts, not media or your own assumptions.
  17. I think your simple maths is quite seriously flawed for multiple reasons.
  18. Nottingham Forest's owner has Coronavirus. Could potentially have spent time with their squad. Could be major if he has.
  19. Thus proving the point that he is capable of nicking a goal.
