Mehmeti is a waste of a wage . Severely lacking at this level
@Supersonic Robin why the confused emoji ? His decision making at this level is awful

He might as well take the corners as we know that our two wide men can’t get a ball past the first man and near post.

Can’t score goals so get our striker to take a corner

Might be a good thing if we want to keep him in the summer.
How do you work that out ? They’re going to knock £2m off because he got a thigh strain

No but if the head coach doesn't do it then usually it's the assistant manager
There’s been midweek games this season without one

Played against Jason Drysdale at primary and secondary school. I thought he was the best player in the world!
Probably the best player I played against . Also Raymond lee, unbelievable skill level . Was at Arsenal for a while . He didn’t make it there but never heard of him again

First two starts I thought he was good but last night I think we saw his best performance of the lot. Very confident carrying the ball and uses the ball very well. Thought it was between him and Pring for MOTM last night
He’s probably a few games off being fully match fit as well. More to come

Funny how we see things differently. I thought for a long time Pring didn’t get a fair crack of the whip under Pearson. He used him sporadically annd appeared to preferred to only play him when he had to despite Pring when he did play more than justified his selection. Those around me all held the same view that it seemed Pring was a first choice but Pearson saw it differently.
Pring was nowhere near fit enough to start with & had to build up his levels. When Pearson started playing him he was spent after a hour. It took a long time for him to build up the stamina we see today. Similar is happening now with mcrorie. Lots go on behind the scenes that fans are not privy to. There’s a reason they make the choices they do that we don’t know about.

"Should" is a modal verb used to show when something is likely or expected. For example:
- My dry cleaning SHOULD be ready this afternoon.- You SHOULD find this guidebook useful.- Tommy Conway and Cam Pring SHOULD have both converted the chances they narrowly put wide. That's how we SHOULD have scored at least twice and if there had been some better decision making in and around the box could have had more clear cut chances so SHOULD have created more (but didn't).
Sometimes to understand context and have a true picture of what happened you have to watch what is happening rather than just look at statistics.
As the saying goes "lies, damned lies, and statistics" is a phrase describing the persuadive power of statistics to bolster weak arguments. So to say we SHOULD NOT have scored at least two tonight because we didn't have a shot in target is in my view a very weak argument when you compare it to the context of the statistics and the chances we did have. Shoukd Chris Waddle not have scored his penalty in the 1990 World Cup semi final because the stats show his shot was off target?
waffle. If we don’t create chances we won’t score goals . It’s pretty simple

The big takeaway for me was that we created some decent openings and SHOULD have scored at least two goals against a bottom half Premier league side.
We dominated them for large parts of the game and forced them to counter attack without really creating many opening themselves bar the Hudson-Odoi effort.
We didn’t have a shot on target so why SHOULD have we scored twice. We played very well up to a point but we don’t create enough chances.

I agree, but think it was their subs at half time that stifled Mehmeti
I honestly think that mehmeti isn’t intelligent enough as a player. He’ll do well against league one defenders but struggles against better players. Also if you notice some of our players (Pring) especially getting frustrated with him. I’ve said before . The higher you go , the big difference is decision making. He doesn’t see the picture quickly enough & dwells on the ball too much which indicates it.
I don’t think you can coach that. I hope I’m wrong but it didn’t take long for manning to give him a run then replace him with twine .- 5

Famara was an excellent CF. Good in the air in both boxes, bullied defenders and wasn’t as poor with the ball at feet as some think. Sure he wasn’t a natural goalscorer but created plenty of chaos in the opposing box allowing others chances.
A player in that mould would an excellent addition but it’ll be the summer before we’ll see whether Manning agrees.
No he wasn’t , if you know the slightest thing about how a no9 should play. There was so much wrong with his game .

Been saying that for ages - City need a powerful CF to bully defenders and hold the ball up. Someone like Diedhiou was.
How can you say hold the ball up & fam in the same sentence . He had feet made of trampolines. We need recreation no doubt though

266 minutes against PL opposition without conceding.
Name me a better Bristol City back five in the last 30 years probably more than
O'Leary
Tanner Vyner Dickie Pring
Webster and Kalas (plus Maenpaa) were a great pairing but full backs were not near our current pair.
Tanner what an absolutely quality defender. Hudson Odoi took one look in the fourth minute, turned back to his full back and disappeared.
To be pedantic it’s a back three , but get your point

So , obviously bollocks peddled by that lot that Ipswich etc were after him.

I am surprised they have announced it publicly , unless they have had these talks before and it had started to leak.
There is always talk of a team switching off, though I doubt it will happen, it does put players in a bit of limbo and doubts for anyone signing in this window. He told the club in November

Got a feeling we’ll get bullied a bit tonight . Nuno’s teams are usually set up well & quite physical , we’ll miss Joe in midfield . Obviously hope I’m wrong but I think it’ll be 1-2 forest

Should have won imo. Both of their goals were far too easy .
