Got any evidence of that? Seems odd to me that BT could make that kind of decision.

Genuine question . Are you stupid ? Can you really not know how it works. I’ve said to you once already . HE IS IN CONTROL OF ALL FOOTBALL MATTERS. JL has admitted he knows nothing about the game . He takes his advice from tinnion . Manning is 100% tinnions appointment . A young inexperienced coach that can be manipulated . He will tow the party line that Pearson wouldn’t

No harm in giving him a proper go next season after a pre-season/some of his own signings. Until the Lansdown’s go the prem is a pipe dream anyway.

If relegation starts to look very on, then we’ll have to change sooner, but shouldn’t come to that.

No , he’s not up to it . Neither are the board. Why let him get some players in only to sack him & someone else got players they don’t want.
all our experience is leaving. We’ll be left with a young squad , a young out of his depth manager & an incompetent board & technical director . We will get relegated if he stays next season

This is what we’re reduced to now. We’ve lost our fourth game in a row to a club who’ve just spent four years in League One, but it’s OK because “we gave it a go”. So what if it felt different. It felt different against Southampton and we’ve lost every game since then. I have zero faith in Manning now, and even less faith in the people that put him there.

Meanwhile Ipswich join the long list of clubs that emerge from the depths of lower league football and pass us on the way up.

    Sick of this club.

Always going to be more of a game to get at them , so I didn't expect it to be a one sided drubbing .
Decent performance , but you have to question a few things .
He said Pring was carrying a knock , it looked like it . Why not switch to Roberts after they went 2-2 . At least he's fully fit.
Is Sykes fit ? Looked off the pace and I wonder if it's another throw of the dice getting him on.
Why wait so long to bring Conway on , could have used fresh legs earlier.

They are in a better place than us, had more impact from the bench and signed 2 strikers in Jan . Annoying because of what could have been , we had other chances , but probably better than many would have expected.

    Big game Sunday now.

Only thing I would say re Sykes. Cornick was feeling his  hamstring & waving to the bench just before the change

Sykes, McCrorie, Pring, Gardner-Hickman and Knight had shockers tonight.

Feel a bit harsh saying this as he was out so long , but I don’t see anything in Mcrorie. For a big lad he loses a lot of personal battles. On the ball he runs into trouble & he’s nowhere near the defender Tanner is

Much as I want Manning and Tinnion to move on, I never want City to lose. So, we seem good at upsetting the form book, and did well against WHU and Forest, plus battered Southampton. So, I am going for a 1-1 draw. Knight to score.

Difference being prem clubs give you time on the ball . We won’t get that tonight

This reminds of “smoke and mirrors” scenario - how do any of us know how much Tinnion was involved in Nige’s departure? is he being scapegoated? Was he involved at all?

The bottom line is that none of us know what goes on within the AG hierarchy. It’s a secretive set as it is many professional football clubs.

Oh get a grip man . He’s the bloody technical director. In other words overseeing all football matters . Of course he was heavily involved

    Danny Wilson

Good manager, 48% win ratio for us. I personally felt pride watching his team from 2000-2004 which often had 5 Bristolians sometimes 7, playing attractive football.

Castigated for the play off disater, but it was one mistake and he was steadily building and improving each season.

Persuaded by Brian "trust me on Tins" Tinnion that Danny was a wrong un. What might have been.

    Gary Johnson

    Good manager, good apppointment.

Victim of his own nepotism which Lansdown should have stepped in and sorted but didn't, culminating in that incident at Plymouth.

    Steve Coppell

The coup that never was. Allegedly realised the owner would be a meddler and left with his bags before even unpacking them.

    Steve Cotterill

What can you say. Don't need to. Except, shafted. Should have been supported but by then nepo boy was on the horizon and Crayon Boy was his mate, and so it came to pass that a managerial imbecile with a win rate of 37% in the 3rd division was showered with gifts in the Championship.

    Nigel Pearson

Achieved different things in different ways. On paper, given mediocre results, unprecedented support from a fan base that recognised what he was doing and had done. Treated disgraefully, replaced though by a manager who apparently would get the most out of our "top 6 quality" squad.

    And so now Liam Manning.

Didn't want him, hard to warm to him. And yet. Win rate of 48% at Lommel, MK and Oxford. 29% for us. Why? Is the step up too much? Has Crayon Boy put too much expectation on him? Will he come good?

    Is there hope?

Steve cotterill not appointed by Lansdown apparently but by Kieth  Dawe . So imo he can’t take credit for him . His legacy on the pitch has been a failure

Haha it’s been said before mate.

but look at this little topic - how lovely, a witch-hunt

Can’t you see there are genuine , serious concerns. I really can’t be bothered to list again the football mistakes that family has made. I’ve done it  so many times I’m bored with it. But with over £200m spent . Don’t you think , with the right football men around him we would have done better ? The constant fawning over the lansdowns by some is ridiculous

Still think we already have enough points as we are but that’s not a defence of the ******* shitshow being served up.

Don’t think we’ve got enough points at all . Most of the teams below us are gaining some momentum . Our next for games are Ipswich , Swansea, West Brom & Leicester . Can’t see much of a return from that lot
