Still waiting to see what they spend the millions they got from the sale of Bodin and his mate on. When the locals realise that the transfer fees quoted were lies and they were sold for peanuts, they will be revolting.

Well they said they got a fair price, and more than Taylor. Seeing as well as Wael insinuated  we had over paid for Taylor "could have had him free on the summer" then I would guess that they would consider £400,000 odd rumoured as fair.

The wander off they will see it doesn't on players or if those monthly installments will be eaten up by their day to day cash flow.

I see Mr Bamber Gasgroin has suddenly quadrupled and more Steve Lansdown's investment in city then?

Enjoy the 20 place gap, bought with £400 million of Lansdown's money, shame he didn't want to pay tax on it, he thought it was more important to fund a football club than pay back into the society that created his wealth. You must be so proud.

this is a classic, moaning about us buying Matt Taylor on a Man City forum. Apparently the same agent as Johnson hence how we knew of the release fee !!

They just don't like the truth. Taylor was going to leave them, he was out of contract but out of some weird loyalty to the club signed a new contract with a release clause so that Rovers would get some money from him leaving. The Gas forums and twitter all mentioned his contract and a few times those ITK said about the 300,000 release fee - so the only people to blame for that being in the public domain are the Rovers fans. As for the last day, that was their fault as well, we approached them, they said they would get back to us, some time later rejected the offer. They then had to be reminded that if the release clause was met that they had to inform the player - yes,  Rovers did not understand how release clauses work, and had rejected our offer without informing Taylor because they did not want to lose him - they really are tinpot. Anyway the lateness of his departure would not have happened if Rovers were actually on the ball.

Yeah, just forget about all the money and fantastic publicity that City have earned with our run in the League Cup this season. They’ll finally get the chance to ‘finish themselves off’ on Tuesday night.

When was the last time your team made it this far in a cup competition you massively thick ****? :laughcont:

They just don;t get it. It's like their hero Windass, they think one goal somehow cancels out the amazing season we had, that somehow all the memories, expectations, hope somehow just vanish because of one game. Man blues could put 10 past us, but would I rather have our season or Rovers ? Am I happy - yes, hopeful - yes, having great fun - yes,  watching some great football - yes. A drubbing won't change that, our poor deluded gas rivals, competition, fools.

So with their 2 best players gone (for a pittance), where do they see themselves going now?  They were making a pretty good job of sliding down the table whilst they still had them.

I have a hunch that Harrison could be gone soon as well.

How much of the (supposed) £750k will dopey be allowed to spend and how much will end up being used to pay the bills?

Even if he had the entire £750k (which I doubt), you don't get a lot for that money these days.

I can't understand why Dopey doesn't just say "enough is enough" and walk as there is no way he can stave off relegation now.

They are 14th in the table 5 points clear of relegation zone and 9 points out of the playoffs - in a really bad league. Not sure why people think they will be relegated. They will likely bring in a few faces like the last few years and just keep bumbling along.

  7. Just a minute..............

    ok

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

    you ok there ?

    Altogether now,

    um alright

NEVER FELT MORE LIKE SINGING THE BLUES.....

ah good, a nice sing along always helps

    All the Teds having meltdowns.

um really ? Been on OTIB and facebook, seems most of us accepted this was coming, pretty much understand the pressure the team are under, forums seem very laid back about it all

Still enjoying the Man Utd win are you? Will probably cost you promotion to the Premier League too. Then it will be worth it won't it you clowns?! We'll all be laughing very hard then and you know it! Deluded Sheeds.

Yup, amazing match, great night out thank you. Not sure one cup game will costs us getting into the Premier league, but thanks for your concern. Did you not learn from your mega relegation party thread how your "gas crystal ball" is really ******* shitty quality, were talking Bristol Rovers Hospitality gift level shit.

Hang on a minute there is something blocking my toilet.....Oh it's ok, just a load of Teds egos. Villa just pulling the flush now.

ego's ?  how's your away support ? Any of you willing to admit the real numbers our you all hanging onto that last lie because you have nothing else....

2-1 win for Rovers too today. Another dream that came right.

Congratulations, win another 3 and you will match your games lost... good show.

What an amazing start to 2018. UTFG

Captains log day one, all is well and obviously will remain this way.

  8. I have no idea what I just saw but that was not just tiredness. Really disappointing especially when after a poor 2nd half going 2 down it looked like we might be back in the game. First 10 minutes of the second half we should have been level at 2-2 but our players blocked our own efforts. Even then we seemed to have a goal or two in us, but it just fizzled out into complete capitulation, even worse than the first half - we just looked like we could not even do the most basic of things right.

I guess Woodrow is also just on the bench so we don't have a empty space.

Oh well - 5 losses all season, just a shame 2 of them came over the same weekend, and on the back of the Wolves game where we should have got something and tonight playing a Villa team that had won just 1 in 6.

Rest up, bring in a couple of fresh legs and let's start again. This is still one of the best seasons we have had for a while, and let's just hope we can put these blips behind us.

Can someone who’s watching confirm if it’s Wright v Adomah or Mags.  Radio says it’s Wright, yet posters on here saying Mags v Adomah is getting murdered. Confused

Wright, he is nowhere near him though giving him loads of space. Adomah is being fed from midfield and their left back with no one seemingly able/willing to stop the supply, or put him under pressure when he gets it.

The word naive was invented for this performance so far.

Until their first goal we were marginally the better side, you could see the nervousness in them and the whinged and whined about every decision and then the midfield goes totally awol nobody goes with the runners and we are 1 down.

Whatever Pack thought he was doing for the 2nd goal is totally beyond me, if he thinks that being within 3 yards is closing his man down and trying to prevent the cross then something is seriously wrong with our coaching.

Now we are being mullered in midfield, we could not have played into their hands anymore if we tried.

Baker naive for his ridiculous booking, Patterson naive for twice being dispossessed dribbling across his own back 4, both full backs are being pulled to pieces, Bryan suddenly woke up with 10 minutes to go after Flint had been pushed upfield.

We play some pretty tippy tappy triangles but lack creativity.

Patterson naive for twice being dispossessed dribbling across his own back 4

I don;t understand why he does it, he could of passed it and let someone clear it both times.

  10. We are looking pretty poor, midfield is missing so playing long balls upto... well Bobby. Adomah is just stood on the side line unmarked receiving easy balls and then putting in some good crosses. When we do have possession we pass straight to a Villa player even when under no pressure. We are just being passed around with little effort, to be honest Villa are making this look very easy.

Hopefully a better 2nd half, but you look at our bench and just wonder what we can do at the moment to change up. Anyway, lets hope we come out fighting, we know we can pull games back, just hope this is one of them.
