Forest Green v Grimsby abandoned due to floodlight failure. What a trip that is!!

Floodlight failure at Forest Green.

Gas losing.. woohoo...
Paul Robinson scored against our neighbours.

It sounded like you were saying that he'd scored his latest of 25 goals and we shouldn't have let him go. But in reality that's only his 6th.
I just said he'd scored, never mentioned 'again'
never mind
-
Whereas technically your use of the word 'again' is correct, I'm pretty sure I saw on here the other day that his tally for the season was 5 (now 6).
Eh?

I think we scored in the first ten minutes of the game, the lads in the second car of our group couldn't find a parking scace and turned up 15 mins late..... bugger! ;-)
First couple of minutes as I recall. One long night after that as they kept banging it up to that tall fella, Ormondryd I think.

If it is and he doesn't look worth it, we don't have to pay it.
Then again, he could hit the form that saw him get a Championship move, and the fee we've agreed ends up looking like peanuts because they wanted rid, and he could be a bargain.
Either could be the case; it's all speculation right now.
What isn't speculation is that he is here on loan, has a goal every 3.5 games in the league, and is a significant improvement on the player he's replaced (Ryan Taylor).
Let's enjoy that for now.
That's what I'm thinking. They put him on the transfer list so probably aren't expecting a big fee.
-
A wide player i reckon.
To replace Shorey?
-
Tad early to be preaching the gospel.
One thing we do know for certain...Like all managers before he will ultimately fail.
Without a shadow of a doubt.
Better to enjoy it while we can though, rather than wallow in self pity because he's not making a pigs ear of it straight away, as some predicted.

Really don't see the harm of this signing. Wonder whether Cotterill will play him up front with JET and drop Baldock to the bench.
It wouldn't surprise me to see him do that for away games where we may need to be a bit more direct.
-
Just to reiterate my point RE Wolves likely being a different/weaker team when we meet them; the exodus begins...
He's not played a game for Wolves this season, has he?
-
Passes leading to Waggy's cross for Greg's goal v Stevenage. What a wonderful goal, virtually all the team involved.
Hooooooooooooofffff!!!

Is the Manager to blame?
Negative subs, sitting on a lead?
Yep, make you about right there H.

We are under new management now, we won't throw games away like we did under SOD
Don't tempt fate, you whelk.

..... not forgetting the six managers in three years issue.
The Lansdowns were both damning about lack of results under SOD - rightly so perhaps, although some would say the tide was turning. They do also need to accept that their performance has also been woeful - particularly so in recent years. Nobody in their right mind is calling for SL to go (not so sure about JL though). What many of us are pleading for is some new voices on the board who can provide real challenge and leadership. Chief Executive might be the answer. As it is we have a puppet chairman and the owner's son seemingly running the show and it patently is not working.
The idea of protests and banners is ridiculous and a red herring. As mentioned above, it's clear SL does read what the fans are saying on the internet and I hope he listens to what many intelligent folk are expressing, particularly on the thread. Steve, you seemed defensive and stressed in this interview. You really really really need better support and expertise around you.
Bit of a misnomer that. 6 managers have been sacked since 2004, and we are on our 8th manager since 2000.

Yes, I seem to recall you and your sort giving it some outside the main entrance in the 80s, too...bloody gobby sh1tes
Yeah sorry about that. Youthful exuberance.
