  1. OK, another one to keep you busy on a Friday afternoon.

Name the nine cities which have had more than one team reach the semi finals (or beyond) of the European Cup / Champions League.

    London, Glasgow, Madrid, Milan.

    Belgrade?

  2. Yes Glyn, of course I can dredge up every single post you've made using my ancient mobile phone, all I know is that last summer you pledged total loyalty to sod, and the 5pillars ,pleading for patience, and urging others to show the same, you and your little helper monkeh verbally savaged anybody who dared to disagree, ,Results went south, their was a period of silence from you, followed all to soon by your re_ emergence as sod,s biggest critic, all pleas for patience thrown out of the window, well know you've got what you want, the opposite of sod, although I expect your position to change in the near future, look up the word hypocrite,! as for your offer of a drink, I have come to the conclusion that their are very few peope who post on here that I would wish to share a drink with, and you are not one of them !

    :P

  3. I shouldn't worry to much about Glyn, Harry. if past form is anything to go by, a couple more defeats and he'll be the biggest cotterill basher on this forum !

You've accused me of manager bashing before tim, and I suppose I'll have to ask you again, can you prove it? Show me my posts where I've bashed any of our managers. Of course, if you class me questioning their methods or team selections as bashing, well then I suppose I'm guilty. I certainly don't criticise managers based on their accents or what they put in their hair.

I'll be in Bar BS3 on Saturday if you fancy that pint.

  4. You're absolutely right Noggers, I don't like him.  Have I made that too obvious. ;)

However, you're wrong with your 3rd sentence, I am justifiably criticising his words, as he takes no responsibility when the team loses, but praises himself to the hilt when they win.  I don't like that trait in people.

Come on H, don't turn into one of those posters who makes stuff up based on your dislike of the manager. There's enough of those on here already.

  5. Name the FIVE French players that have scored 50 or more Premier League goals?

What footballer, who is currently playing in the Premier League has played in all four divisions in England, the Conference, the Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, Scottish Premier League, Scottish Cup and Scottish League  Cup ?

    Gary Hooper?

Which team has won every time that they have played away at Arsenal?

    No idea

Who has scored a hat-trick in the Premier League but been on the losing side twice?

    Matt Le Tissier

Name the THREE players  who have come on as a substitute, scored, and never played for England again?

    Nugent, Stein, ?

Which THREE players have played in the Old Firm derby, Manchester derby and Merseyside derby?

    Kanchelskis, Bellamy , Ball

Which two league teams - one from England and one from Scotland - don't include the letters a, b, c, d or e in their names?

Who are the lowest ranked international team?

  6. So do other teams top marksman. You reckon they get the bile and even booing Baldock has got?

Booing? Where have you heard that? I've not heard it at Ashton Gate.

Plenty of "******* hell Baldock" shouts but no booing.

  7. By the sounds of it, looking for first team football on a regular basis. Who is dropped then? We have waggy or Moloney at right back who both deserve to keep their role and our three cb's who deserve to keep their place atm. I can't see who he would replace?

If he helps us keep a few clean sheets, does it really matter?

Plenty of posters were bemoaning the fact that we can't keep the goals out on Tuesday after the Watford defeat, SC is trying to do something about it.

  8. If it means Fontaine slips down the pecking order then yes, great.

Merely an observation that Cotterill's two signings in this window are 28 & 29 years old, and both have slightly dubious reputations in terms of their mentality. The other (Osborne) is also over 25 though to be fair a Burt signing.

Age is just a number. Shaun Taylor was 33 when we signed him.
