  1. It's a bit like trying to rank your best strikers. Okay, behind John Atyeo then :). But yeah agree with your sentiment.
  2. I think any time the Gas they mention their crowd the response should be 12,008. We'll gloss over the number of Arsenal fans there.
  3. I was a bit more upset at the first goal. I'm just hoping we can relieve the pressure a bit and get an attack or two going. But the longer it goes, the less hope I have.
  4. Maybe, but it did deflect off our defender.
  5. Whenever I heard him on twentyman, I was never impressed.
  6. It's Nessa from Gavin & Stacey. Tidy.
  7. What a goal. Let's hope that gives them some confidence. Not too much mind, don't want them bombing forward too much.
  8. To be fair, the only time I saw our third choice keeper play for the first team, he didn't look great either.
  9. I think this poll has written BPs Monday morning headline: "Overwhelming support for Pearson" I'll leave JP to draft the copy, but expect to see 85% in it somewhere, together with a few quotes from the 'Post match' thread. He will also need to make a couple of basic spelling errors for authenticity (turn off that automatic spellcheck James). I'd be amazed if he could come up with a quote from SL, unless it's along the lines off 'Oi! You! Get off my golf course.' In theory SL might have stayed over to watch the women v Arsernal later today, so it might be worth JP staking out Ashton Gate. In which case the quote will be 'Oi! You! Get out of my box.'
  10. Shelts, I think it's only Bristol Boy that has a big downer on Nige.
  11. Probably not. The King will be back in the Counting House by now ...
  12. Don't you mean self destruct button?
  13. Yeah, they don't pick the formation hoping it doesn't work do they. It got changed when it was obvious it could not be made to work. (I don't think either wing back were playing well, and JD seemed to have acres of space going forward.)
  14. 1 extra point is worth more than all the goal difference in the world.
  15. This is wholly unacceptable, and something that the SLO/Bristol City should be sorting out on your behalf. If you look at the RobinsTV terms and conditions here your contract is with Bristol City, not StreamAMG. Maybe you should send a complaint/registered letter to Bristol City (or Bristol Sport)? You'd want to send it to an appropriate executive. Anyway StreamAMG seem to be listed at companies house under Stream UK Media Service Ltd (I found that company name here.) if you want to contact them. If it were me, my remedial requirements would include any 'ongoing/future' additional costs incurred as a result of them taking RTV away, so for example any expenditure for today, Weds, etc., is refunded. I'd ask to be made whole in the currency charged in. Good luck with this - quite frankly these people are an embarrassment.
  16. Alternatively, "Sky still don't think City are very good". Post Christmas I'd like us to be royally peed off every week with Sky moving our games all over the place. Why? Because they'll only feature us if we're well into the top 6 and gunning for promotion. Thinking about it, I'm not even sure that will get us featured that much!
  17. I use bitwarden. I used to use lastpass, but they got all the user data stolen and tried to play down that only the passwords were encrypted - news to us users - and so lots of accessible info eg urls, user names, anything stored in notes etc. Do not touch them.
  18. Get it in while you can. I'll have nobody badmouthing of them when our Tommy makes the team
  19. Absolutely no way city would get that.
  20. Me too, but remember it from the very early eighties. No doubt I joined in, but same as you I was completely clueless about what it meant.
  21. SteamAMG mission statement: 'Striving for incompetence.' A lofty height they may never reach. I've had my share of issues with them, but some of the above anecdotes should be unbelievable. Sadly they are not.
  22. Per Keiran Maguire, they organised Man Utd in such a way, that they can draw a dividend from a profit making Co, whilst the overall group have always been loss making.
  23. He might have identified Flint, but he wasn't impressed by how much we paid for him. Wasn't Pack OOC somewhere? I am thinking Cheltenham? And ended up training at Portsmouth? Both were great signings BTW. Sure you're right about JET - was SOD at Donny when JET was on loan there?
  24. Hmm. SOD didn't seem very interested in keeping us in the Championship - it might have been too late, but I thought we went down with a whimper. Did he have much to do with recruitment? I thought he said we spent a ludicrous amount on Flint, and that he wouldn't have bothered (at the price).
  25. My seat in the Dolman isn't any better than it would've been 50 years ago. In fact it might be worse because they moved the seats yo get more in.0okay it might be plastic v wooden, but I don't have a cushion like they did back in the 2 channel tv days.
